Congratulations to the graduating class of 2016! May the path
ahead be filled with much success and happiness!
As I prepare for the year ahead, I am very thankful to Susie Blake,
for all of her time and dedication as President over the past two
years. She has worked tirelessly to build community and stronger
support for our students. Thank you Susie, for all you have done
for PTA and the Orange Schools. We are all truly grateful for your
leadership and guidance.
While we are all looking forward to a more relaxed schedule over
the summer, PTA will be busy working to prepare for the new
school year.

Treasurer
Watch for the new format of the Lions Roar Directory, available
this fall. If you have not completed the google survey form to
provide your families’ information please go to orangeschools/
OHSPTA.aspx. This is extremely important if you want to be
included in the Directory!
We are also seeking advertisers for the Lions Roar Directory. This
is an important fundraiser for PTA and is used by many in the
community!

Become a member of OHS PTA and if you are able, please
volunteer your time!
Membership information is available in this issue and online at
the OHS PTA website. New this year - use PayPal to pay your
membership dues! Your donation of any amount enables PTA
to give back to the school in a variety of ways. Last year over
$38,000 was given back to our school and students.
Our first PTA meeting of the new school year will be September
7th in the media center at OHS! Paul Lucas, OHS Principal, and
Jennifer Cohen, Board of Ed. member, will give a brief update at 9
am, with the general PTA meeting to follow.
Enjoy your summer and see all of you in August!
Thank You
