Doug Peterson Hailing from Kalamazoo, Doug Peterson approaches his music with irreverence and a sense of soul felt sentimentality. His sound has been likened to Cat Stevens, Billy Corgan, and Weird Al playing for a Victorian tea party after the wine has arrived. Performing a set, he can move seamlessly from a folk ballad, to a melodic hard rock anthem, into a quirky geeky love song, all while engaging his audience with anecdotes and personal stories. Greg Hulsebos Greg Hulsebos is a skilled musician and singer who is known for his variety of early ragtime, blues, and jazz tunes. He can be seen performing regularly at the Holland Farmers Market and during the Downtown Holland Street Performer Series. Since graduating from Hope College in 2011, he has been playing heartfelt, humble tunes at the Farmers Market and Street Performer Series, both solo and with his band, Bear Hug. His material draws from old time mountain music, recent indie rock, and everything in between. Randy Schaap Randy Schaap began playing harmonica in the 1980’s while playing bass with a gospel music group in the tri-state area. His unique blues style was shaped by artists such as Buddy Greene, Charlie McCoy, and the music of blues legend Little Walter. Currently, Randy plays in many different venues, local recording studios, and the Downtown Holland Street Performer Series. Sam Kenny Sam Kenny is a musician from Grand Rapids. He bought a guitar in 1998 to learn and play Bob Dylan songs for himself in his dorm room at Illinois Wesleyan University. In 2000 he played his own songs in front of others for the first time at an open mic in Austin, Texas. This did not go very well, and he was traumatized. He did not play in front of others again until 2003 when he started the rock band Fancy Thermos with his brother, Billy. Sam plays shows of his own songs and also cover shows where he plays his favorites (and hopefully yours too). post 2144 616.396.4577 234 South River Avenue 13 West 7th Street 616.394.1313 FEATURED DRINKS Stay Tuned...
