ènema. Forma medicamentosa que hom aplica per
injecció d'un medicament líquid a l'intestí gros, a través
de l'esfínter anal, mitjançant una cànula. Antigament
foren molt emprats, però avui són reduïts a l'ús clínic.
N'hi ha dos grans grups, els alimentaris i els
medicinals.
