We hope that you enjoy the auction and perhaps go home with some treasures. All items must be paid for immediately after the auction. Cash, checks and credit cards, will be accepted. 1. The items for sale will be shown on the screen in the same order as shown in the auction catalog. TCI and/or the auction committee is not responsible for verification of any information supplied with the auction lots. All estimates of value, condition, age, maker, etc. are directly from the donors and consignors. Lots are sold as is. 3. When bidding, raise your paddle high for the auctioneer to see. A big thank you goes to the members of the Ohio Thimble Seekers for their work to make the 2014 TCI Auction so successful. Another great big thank you to Ed Green, our perennial auctioneer/entertainer and to all the spotters who help to make the event so lively. And another thank you to all the TCI members who generously donated items which derive 100% benefit for TCI. Consignments are the lifeblood of the auction and we are pleased to have so many quality lots to offer, thanks to the consignors. The item description will be read before bidding begins. 4. Any disputes are settled at the discretion of the Auctioneer. 5. Absentee bids will be included during the live auction. 6. All items are marked for value by the seller. Any reserve has been set by the seller. 7. Items will be sold to the highest bidder. 8. When the auctioneer sees that bidding has stopped but the item has not reached the reserve, the auctioneer will announce: “Seeing no other interest in this item, the highest bidder will be told the reserve price and will be given the option to pay that price.” 10. “The reserve price on this item is X, does the high bidder wish to pay this amount?” “Sold” or “Passed” will be announced. 11.
