Yes! As a SHOP YOUR WAY Personal Shopper, you can earn while you shop! The Personal Shopper by SHOP YOUR WAY program is a great way to boost your income and help your friends and family save time and money. Sign up as personal shopper for free and start inviting your family and friends to become your clients. Once they sign up as your client, you can start sharing and recommending Sears’ great products and services. Use SHOP YOUR WAY tools to build personalized catalogs, create polls and make recommendations to your clients that will take the hassle out of shopping for them and put money in your wallet! How does Being a Personal Shopper work? You’ll earn 1% commission on all qualifying purchases made by your clients. If you have 20 or more clients who make a purchase you are eligible to earn an additional 1% commission as long as your client uses their SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS membership number when purchasing online or in a store. On the 15th of each month we will send you a check for commission you earned in the previous month, as long as that commission is $20 or more. If you earned less than $20 commission, we will carry over the total amount we owe to the next calendar month or months. None of our full- or part-time employees is eligible to be a SHOP YOUR WAY Personal Shopper. Being a Personal Shopper gives you a great opportunity to boost your monthly income! As you know, you’ll earn 1% commission on all qualifying purchases made by your clients, and an additional 1% commission if you have 20 or more clients!* If your client network averages $1000 in qualifying purchases a month at 1% commission, that’s $120 a year! If you have 20 or more clients in your network who make a qualifying purchase, your commission doubles to 2%, earning you $240! Let’s look at another example. Upload a picture and personalize your account as much as you’d like! Be sure to turn in your W-9 so we can send your earnings to you! Just log in to your account and: • Choose Personal Shopper from the left menu column. • Select the Commissions tab. • Click on “Submit a W-9 form” Fill it out and you’re ready to go! Inviting friends from your existing social network is fast and easy! Reach out to your Account Manager! How to use your Personal Shopper Account Your account on shopyourway.com makes it easy to get your business started! Simply log in to get started! Here are just a few things you can do on your account: 4 Add the SHOP YOUR WAY bookmarklet: • Go to http://www.shopyourway. com/tools/bookmarklet • Drag the Bookmarklet icon to your tool bar. 1 Modify your account • Click on the arrow near your name in the upper righthand corner. • Choose Account Settings. From here, you can change your password, update your notification settings under the Notification Settings tab, update your privacy settings under the Privacy tab, and connect to Facebook, and so much more! 2 Update your profile: • Click on the arrow near your name in the upper righthand corner. • Choose Account Settings. Set up your personal information and upload a picture on this page. 3 Invite clients: • Choose Personal Shopper from the left menu column. • Select the Invitations tab. • Select an invitation method among Facebook, Yahoo!, Gmail or e-mail. Inviting clients is easy when you combine your SHOP YOUR WAY account and your existing social networks! Using the SHOP YOUR WAY bookmarklet makes creating a catalog, making recommendations, building polls, etc., a breeze! 5 Create a catalog: • Choose Catalogs from the left menu column. • Select Create a new catalog from the main screen navigation options. • Add products from SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS retailers by clicking the Add Products button and pasting in product URLs or more simply, click the Add to SHOP YOUR WAY bookmarklet in your toolbar! Catalogs are great tools for creating a very personalized experience for your client, and makes shopping simple! 6 Shop together: • Click the Shop Together box in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. • Choose the name of the client you would like to shop with. • Click Start to begin browsing together. • Type a message to your client and being shopping! Shopping together helps you inspire your clients, and gives you an opportunity to learn more about their personal tastes and styles. 7 Send a personal message to a client: • Choose Personal Shopper from the left menu column. • Click on the Clients tab. • Select “messages” under the name of a client from your list. • Post a message, photo or video! We’ll notify your client that he or she has a message, and we’ll notify you when you get a response! 8 Track your commissions: • Choose Personal Shopper from the left menu column. • Click on Commissions. From this tab you’ll be able to track your clients’ spending, the percentage of commissions earned and the total of any pending commissions. 9 Monitor your invitations: • Choose Personal Shopper from the left menu column. • Click on Invitations. You can keep track of who’ve invited, how you invited them, and the status of your invitation, so you can be sure to reach out and follow up at just the right moments! How does the “no-receipt-required” return policy work? Let’s say you need to return an item but your receipt has decided to disappear. If you used your SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS Membership when you purchased the item, a Sears or Kmart Associate will be able to look up your original receipt for you. Simply provide your email address, phone number or Member number to the Associate who will look up your purchase. How great is that? I have a Sears MasterCard. Can I still earn Sears Choice Rewards if I’m also a Member of SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS? Yes. Purchase of eligible merchandise will continue to earn Sears Choice Rewards if you are a member of the Sears Choice Rewards program. Plus, you’ll earn 10 Points or more for every $1 you spend on qualified purchases when you use your SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS card. 5% EARN BONUS POINTS How are Points calculated? Members earn 10 Base Points for every $1 spent on qualifying purchases. Member can also earn Bonus Points when offered. Frequently Asked Questions How do I invite friends? Qualifying items from Sears, Kmart, mygofer, Craftsman®, Lands’ End and Sears Outlet are all applicable. Qualifying purchases can be made online or in store. Recommend items by posting links on a Client’s Personal Shopper page, by recommending a product to specific clients from the product page or by creating and sharing a catalog of items with clients. Friends who register as your clients will also become members of the SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS program (if they are not already). Each time they make a qualifying purchase using their SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS membership number, you earn 1% commission or in some cases 2% - see Terms and Conditions. You can keep track of commission earned on the “Commissions” tab of your Personal Shopper by SHOP YOUR WAY Admin page. How much will I be paid when my clients purchase using their SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS membership? You will be paid 1% commission on all qualifying purchases made by your clients. If you have 20 or more clients who make a purchase you are eligible to earn an additional 1% commission. Your commission check will be mailed to the mailing address you provided in your W9 Form. I registered as a Personal Shopper but I want to leave the program. How do I opt out? Go to your Settings tab and click the link to “Opt Out.” After you opt out, your clients will receive an email notification that you are no longer their Personal Shopper. I have more questions. Who can I contact? If you have a question or need help, click on the Account Manager tab on your Personal Shopper Admin Page and post a message. Why does Sears Holdings Corporation need this information? The W-9 “Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification” form is issued by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and used to certify your name, address and taxpayer identification number (TIN). We are required by law to collect this form from you because we will be making payments to you in your capacity as an independent contractor. You can find more information about the W-9 form at www.irs.gov. We need your correct name and mailing address in order to process any payments to you for Commissions you earn on qualifying client purchases. We need your TIN in order to report any taxable earnings to both the IRS and to you after the end of the calendar year, whenever required by law. How will this information be used? Your name and address will be used to send payments to you for Commissions you earn on qualifying client purchases.
