 Red Light Status Indicates:
Continuously Lit = Successful communications with PC
Off = No or broken communications with PC
Single Flash every 2 seconds = Memory is 80% Full
Double Flash every 2 seconds = Memory is 90% Full

Red and Green Light Status Indicates:
Red Light Flashing/Green Light ON = Memory is Full

Alternately Flashing (400/500 only) = Paper spacing set Mode
Note: Battery warning can prevent the Realtime or Read In feature
in the software from working.
Flush Delay
Flush Delay is the amount of time the program will wait before
translating a stroke. If you are attempting to write a two-stroke
outline, you must write the second stroke within this amount of
time, or Eclipse will consider them to be two separate one-stroke
entries. This is measured in milliseconds: the default setting of 2000
is equivalent to two seconds. If multi-stroke words are translating as
individual words, increase this setting.
1. From the Eclipse main menu, hit Alt u for the User Settings
2. Next click on the Realtime tab
3. It is recommended for Theory Students to Increase the Flush
Delay to 3000
4. After Theory Students have increased their speed, they can go
back into the User Settings and decrease the Flush Delay number
back to 2000
