Dear Valued Customer,
Welcome to our new catalogue - ISSUE 4.
Since our last Issue we have continued to invest in EU Fire & Security’s
team to meet the needs of our customers, taking on extra sales staff both
internally and externally, whilst also expanding our in-house technical
team, giving you greater access to our wide range of knowledge and
support.
E.U Fire & Security Limited is continuing to go from strength to strength in
the fire industry and we are now recognised as the largest independent
distributor in the UK. 2015 has also seen us expand into the global market
with our new export division, further staff have been employed with the
relevant expertise and experience to take this division forward, enabling
us to offer the very best services to our customers worldwide.
The recent expansion of our premises gives us the flexibility to stock a
wide range of fire alarm & emergency lighting products, offering a huge
range of products on a next day delivery service, with a 4pm cut off or
same day collection.
Since opening our purpose built training facilities our main objective has
been to promote, improve and perfect fire alarm training in the industry,
we recognise that not all customers have the same training needs, so
if you’re an electrical wholesaler, electrical contractor, fire specialist,
consultant or even local authorities then we will have a course to suit your
needs. 2015 has seen us offer one of the largest training programs in the
UK including;
•FIA accredited courses including Fire Alarm Design & Emergency

•Introduction to Fire Alarms, includes both Fire Alarm Standards and
Product Ranges.

manufacturers, including Advanced Electronics, Morley-IAS,
Kentec, C-Tec, Fike and many more.
• Aspirating Detector training.

In addition to standard training courses we have teamed up with FireDocs.
com to bring you a range of personalised documents and certificates, in
line with the latest British Standards.

Goals & Objectives
Our mission is to be the best independent fire & safety systems supplier in the
UK, by using new & emerging technologies to provide dependable, high quality
& innovative equipment & services designed to anticipate & satisfy market
needs.
Design
From initial enquiry, our dedicated system designers will undertake a full
evaluation of your exact requirements, carry out a site survey where required,
produce a detailed report, design specifications and quotations together, if
necessary, with any associated drawings.
E.U Fire & Security understand the need for flexibility in the market sector,
and will endeavour to design a system to accommodate all your requirements,
ensuring the proposals, and prices meet with your full expectations and
agreement.
We are constantly looking at better ways to support you the customer, in all
aspects of design, and can now offer Design to BAFE SP203 accreditation.
Commission
BS5839-1:2013 recommends that a fire alarm installation should be fully
commissioned to ensure satisfactory operation and the commissioning should
be carried out by a competent person with detailed experience of the standards
and the products installed.
E.U Fire & Security provide an in-depth knowledge of the products, and a wide
experience of its applications that would ensure compliance with the code,
together with a service that is both cost effective and reliable. In addition to the
standard commissioning services, we also offer 3rd Party accreditation to BAFE
SP203.
Training
We want our customers to get maximum benefit from the systems we offer and
consider support and training an essential element of our services. We offer
hands-on product training at various venues around the UK including our Head
Office in North West, so that your staff are fully up to speed with new systems
before they go live.
From basic fire detection design, to detailed training for specific requirements,
we offer in partnership with the FIA tailor made training courses, which offer real
and tangible benefits for all involved in fire protection, from designer to user.
The modular approach of the courses provides a number of stand alone. Units
that allow delegates to choose the training best suited to their needs. For those
involved in continual professional development the courses are registered with
CIBSE providing CPD points, plus all the training course material is regularly
updated to take account of changes in standards, legislation and technology.
