AZORES GENETIC FOREST BREEDING PROGRAM PREVIOUS CONCLUSIONS PROVENANCE TRIALS Results indicate that the Cryptomeria japonica adapted well to the environmental conditions of the Azores, and likely developed into a new local race Superior growth behaviour from the originating and Korean populations, suggest that this genetic material should be included to improve the Cryptomeria japonica breeding Azorean population.
