Elliott Junior Livestock Show was January 26 in Ft. Elliott. Exhibitors presented their goats, sheep, heifers, steers and swine to the judges at their local show. With this competion complete exhibitors will continue on to compete in Ft. Worth, San Antonio, San Angelo and Houston. Results are as follows: Steer Class 1: Kaylan Smith, first place, Grand Champion; Kelton Quarles, second place, Reserve Grand; Rebecca Longley, third place. Heifers Class 1: Brooklyn Buckingham, first place Class 2: Boone Begert, first place and Grand Champion. Class 3: Mackie Begert, first place, Reserve Grand Champion; Mackie Begert, second place. Junior showmanship: Boone Begert. Senior showmanship: Mackie Begert. Lambs Class 1: Rayden Gonzales, first place and Breed Champion; Roper Pigg, second place and Reserve Breed; Tatum Pigg, third place. Class 2: Barrett Meadows, first place and Breed Champion; Kaylan Smith, second place and Reserve Breed. Class 3: Kayle Coffman, first place; Garrett Childress, second place; Wyatt Adkins, third place; Kamryn Chester, fourth place.
