The Need
Daily life is filled with small emergencies—minor cuts, scrapes, abrasions, burns, and
insect bites.
Competitive Solutions
The grocery store is full of expensive first-aid products that address only one need—
making them costly to use.
The Melaleuca Solution
MelaGel is a natural ouch-soother that forms an invisible bandage of protection—keeping
the healing power of T36-C5 Melaleuca Oil in constant contact with your skin. MelaGel also
includes other natural, nourishing ingredients to help care for tender, damaged skin.
The Melaleuca Value
MelaGel’s true value is its versatility. No need to buy a separate cut balm, scrape cream, or
burn remedy. Patent Number

“For the past 17 years, the heels of my feet
have gotten so dry and cracked that they
bleed every winter. Walking made me
miserable. One evening, I applied MelaGel.
I couldn’t believe how much better my feet
were the next morning. One application
was all it took to moisturize my heel. My
sister had the same problem and it worked
for her too! Now we tell everyone about
how wonderful MelaGel is.” Chun-Hee Cho,
Bay Shore, New York
“My husband’s hands were burned in
October by a roaster he was carrying.
Luckily, I had MelaGel in my purse. It took
the sting and hurt out of my husband’s
burn. He doctored it for a few days with
T36-C5 Melaleuca Oil and the MelaGel disk.
After one week the burn was better!”
Kevin and Kim Stephens, Iowa
A minor cut or scrape demands immediate attention. Grocery store brand first-aid balms
can be messy and expensive—and they only address one need. That’s why there’s MelaGel.
This topical formula coats minor injuries and keeps the power of T36-C5 Melaleuca Oil
in constant contact with your skin. No running. No evaporation. T36-C5 Melaleuca Oil
penetrates into the lower skin layers for natural wound relief.
MelaGel’s Natural, Nourishing Ingredients
In addition to 23% T36-C5 Melaleuca Oil (see Melaleuca Oil section for more information
on The Wonder from Down Under®), MelaGel also contains other beneficial ingredients to
help soothe and moisturize minor skin woes.
Cocoa butter.
Melaleuca went all the way to Holland to obtain cocoa butter rich enough for MelaGel.
This vital ingredient is obtained using a solvent-free “dutching” process which removes
all traces of irritating acidity—so MelaGel’s cocoa butter is refined and pure. As a natural
emollient, cocoa butter helps rejuvenate, soften, and protect the skin. It’s also beneficial for
reducing the appearance of stretch marks and scars.
Natural beeswax.
MelaGel’s beeswax gives it that stick-to-your-skin consistency that forms a bandage-like seal
over wounds to keep out water and promote healing. Beeswax has been used by artists for
centuries to preserve and protect their masterpieces, and it works the same way on your
skin—sealing in moisture and healing power and keeping contaminants at bay.

“My grandchildren call MelaGel ‘Grammy’s
Glue.’ I give MelaGel to my scouting
grandsons and granddaughters for their
first aid kits. I have also given some to
my neighbors to help with some of their
ailments. Thanks Melaleuca for MelaGel.”
Dixie Crompton, Lebanon, Oregon
“A friend told us about MelaGel. Within
one week, MelaGel helped my husband’s
hands. It’s amazing how well this product
works! MelaGel is one product we are not
without! Thanks!” Robin Crabtree, Shelbyville,
Illinois
“On Thanksgiving, I was cooking my
turkey on my outdoor grill. It’s one of
those grills with the vents that slide open
on the top. Unwisely, I opened it without
the help of an oven mitt. I grabbed the
vents with my index finger and thumb.
Ouch! I immediately went into the house
and put MelaGel on both fingers. It helped
soothe them. Another success story for
Melaleuca!” Faye DeSaulnier,
Shewsbury, Massachusetts
Wheat germ oil.
MelaGel’s wheat germ oil comes from the heart of the wheat kernel and has important
regenerative and antioxidant properties because of its natural vitamin E content. Wheat
germ oil works to restructure and reinforce the skin, and it’s a natural moisturizer. As a free
radical fighter, wheat germ oil helps preserve the health and integrity of the skin, heals
cuts, and provides a defense against bacterial infection.
Vitamin A.
MelaGel’s vitamin A helps promote healthy skin by thickening the epidermis and dermis
and increasing skin elasticity.
Vitamin D3.
MelaGel’s vitamin D3 works synergistically with vitamin A to boost its healing power.
Vitamin E.
MelaGel’s vitamin E naturally moisturizes and helps repair rough, dry skin. Like cocoa
butter, vitamin E also helps reduce the appearance of stretch marks and scars.
Using MelaGel to Care for Your Everyday Injuries
Scrapes and abrasions. An abrasion doesn’t bleed much, but it really hurts because it
exposes millions of nerve endings.
1) Clean the area with soap and warm water. Gently wash away any dirt or debris.
2) Numb the area with an ice pack.
3) Apply MelaGel.
4) If the scrape is large, cover with a sterile gauze bandage until a scab forms.
Cuts. A cut that is more than 1/2 inch long or is deep or jagged may require stitches. For
small cuts:
1) Stop bleeding by applying pressure with a clean cloth for five minutes or until
bleeding stops.
2) Clean with soap and warm water.
3) Apply MelaGel and cover with a bandage.
Minor burns. Most first and second-degree burns are caused by the sun or by scalding.
Redness is a sign of a first-degree burn; blisters are a sign of a second-degree burn. (For
serious burns, consult a doctor immediately.)
1) Immerse the burn in cool water or cover with a towel soaked in cold water.
2) Leave the burn uncovered if it is not oozing.
3) Apply MelaGel.
4) Give fluids to prevent dehydration.
Insect bites and stings. For insect bites, apply MelaGel to stop itching and prevent
infection caused by your scratching.
Bee strings:
1) Try to remove stinger by flicking or gently scraping it out. Do not squeeze it.
2) Apply an ice pack.
3) To ease itching, apply MelaGel.
On-the-Go Treatment
MelaGel is available in a handy squeeze tube or a pocket-sized disk—so you’ll always have
reliable, soothing comfort at your fingertips. For double protection, apply Melaleuca Oil
to your cut and cover with a layer of MelaGel. Trust your minor skin injuries to the major
soothing power of MelaGel! 
