forming and welding, the entire shaft assembly is heat–treated.

BASE DETAILS:
AMT6: made from tapered 5” to 4” (127 to 102mm) round aluminum
shaft welded over and in a 6 5/8” round (168mm) extruded-aluminum pole base which is welded top and bottom to a cast-aluminum
anchor base. The entire shaft assembly is heat–treated.
A 4” by 9” (102 by 229 mm) maintenance opening, complete with cover and copper ground lug, is centered 21” (533 mm) from the bottom
of the anchor plate.
Base cover: made from two pieces of cast aluminum mechanically
fastened to the base with stainless steel screws.
