Abbreviations and Definitions:
C2B- Slide 1 stitch to cable needle, hold to back of work. K next stitch in back of loop then K the stitch on the
cable needle (You may want to slip this stitch back on your regular needle before knitting.)
C2F- Slide 1 stitch to cable needle, hold to front of work. K next stitch then K the stitch on the cable needle
(you may want to slip this stitch back on your regular needle before knitting.)
C3B– Slide 1 stitch on cable needle on the back of the work, K2 following stitches, K1 on cable needle.

Cast on 221 sts and work the following for set up.
NOTE: The C2F’s that separate the pattern panels are worked on every right side row. Those 2 sts are purled
on the wrong side rows.
The 3 purl sts on either side of the Grapevine Panel are purled on every row (right and wrong side) producing a
garter stitch with purl sts rather than knit stitches.

Work in pattern stitches as established. Twenty repeats of the Moss Stitch Heart pattern will yield the desired
66” length.
After the blanket is complete, make a border: crochet one complete round of the blanket in Double Crochet,
and 2 complete rounds in the Treble crochet, making sure at each corner to do 3 stitches in the corner to form
an angle.
Finish by pressing on the wrong side of the work, using a wet cloth, not touching the work with the iron.
