an evening of watching some of Nashville’s
hottest acts play a completely unplugged
show! Participating acts include
Due West, Stealing Angels and
several surprise artists.
Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC) is a non-profit
organization that provides funding for hundreds
of non-profit organizations throughout the nation
that meet the direct needs of children. Our vision is
that every child has the same opportunity no matter
what obstacle they are facing. The mission of SCC
remains true to the ideals it was founded upon in
1982; to care for children in educational, financial,
social and medical need in order to help them lead
productive lives. SCC is more than just a fundraiser
– we are partners in change. Our common goal is
to ensure every child in need be given the tools to
build a better, brighter and healthier future. Since
1999, the Las Vegas Chapter has distributed nearly
$3 million to children’s organizations in Southern
Nevada, with more than $255,000 in 2010.
