STIHL introduces two revolutionary
models to its brushcutter range – the
FS 94 and FS 250, a power upgrade on
the popular FS 200.
The light and powerful FS 94 provides
complete control as the ideal partner for
contractors, professional landscapers and
demanding landowners. With a slim-line
design and excellent weight distribution,
it’s primed for all-day jobs.
With the FS 94 in your hands, getting
things running couldn’t be easier thanks to
STIHL’s Easy2Start technology. The days
of losing valuable time on the job with a
flooded engine are all but gone.
And there’s no need to check the stop
switch position – the FS 94 is always ready
to start. Cold engine? No problems, you’ll
be up and running after a few pulls of the
starter rope every time.
Once the FS 94 fires up, the
ECOSPEED feature comes into its own,
enabling the user to easily adjust the
speed to tackle the task at hand, down to
delicate trimming. Think of ECOSPEED as
cruise control for your trimmer.
The 2-Mix engine and part load running
means the brushcutter is primed to go all
day. This pro tool is also fuel efficient and
environmentally friendly.
The features keep on coming, including
a solid drive shaft, fuel tank base
protection and a long-life air filter, making
the FS 94 durable, easy to use, reliable
and easy to service.
STIHL invited Rose Mileto of Jim’s
Mowing, Berwick, to put the FS 94 RC-E
brushcutter to the test.
After a full day on the job, Rose was
impressed with its handling and performance,
describing it as “very comfortable” with
“excellent distribution of weight”.

on my muscles. A real bonus in my line of
work,” she said.
“The grip and handle were great for
changing angles when cutting, creating a
nice, sharp edge.”
Rose found the brushcutter easy to
start, which is a bonus on top of STIHL’s

Vincent Conde of Jim’s Mowing,
Berwick, put an FS 250 through its paces
and was well impressed.
“I was surprised by just how light it
was for its size and power,” he said. “It
definitely took on any task I set it.”
Vincent liked its built-in comfort features.
“The soft grips and no vibration made it
really comfortable,” he said. “Because it
didn’t feel heavy and its weight is evenly
distributed, my arms and shoulders were
less fatigued by the end of the day.
“It also started up first time, every time, and
was economical on fuel – winners for me.”
