Our Fibreglass Trade Swingback and Platform Stepladders
(Pages 10-11) feature non-conductive stiles, ideal for working
around electricity. Available in both Trade and Industrial models
and in sizes ranging from 2-12 treads, the ladders also feature
Werner’s unique Holster Tops with specially designed tool and
equipment holders and are fully compatible with the Werner LockIn accessory system to customise the ladder top.
The Werner Lock-In System accepts a range of accessories
designed for convenience and to boost safety and productivity
when working at height. The accessories which store and cater for
anything from power and hand tools to paint sprayers and paint
substantially reduce the number of trips required up and down a
ladder. Further details can be found on page 12.
ACCESS SOLUTIONS
The NEW Box Section Extension Ladders (Pages 18-19) are available in
both double and triple section models and in closed lengths ranging from
1.85m to 4.93m, offering reach heights of between 3.6m and 10.62m.
Crucial for safety conscious tradespeople across all industry sectors, the
ladders are fully certified to BS EN131.
Also new to the Werner product portfolio and in line with our philosophy of
continual development and improvement are the upgraded MasterTrade™
Stepladder and Platform Ladder (See page 16). These robust, industrial
grade ladders are manufactured from heavy duty aluminium and available
in a range of sizes; 4-14 treads for the swingback and 4-12 treads for the
platform model. The new ladders are fully certified to BS 2037 Class 1
and have a duty rating of 130kg. The largest platform model in the range
offers an impressive reach height of 4.4m.

use of ladders and stepladders.
Ladder training plays a vital role in promoting safe working practices, reducing falls from height and is
a key component in compliance with the Work at Height Regulations 2005 (WAHR).

Werner ladders are manufactured and tested to the strictest quality
standards. All Werner ladders meet or exceed British Standards
Institute (BSI) requirements, where applicable.
Always select the correct ladder for the job. Check the type of product,
the working height required and the maximum safe working load shown
by the symbol.

does not absorb moisture or significantly
weaken in the sun and it does not corrode
or rust. Non-marking, fibreglass is warmer
to the touch and retains its smooth surface.

specialist trades such as painting and
decorating.

is safer to use around power lines or other live
sources of electricity. Of the non-conductive
options, fibreglass ladders weigh less and are
therefore easier to lift, move and transport.

same product in wood weighing typically 14kg.
