School Profile
Pangbourne College was originally founded in 1917 as a Nautical College with the purpose
of preparing boys to be officers in the merchant navy. Today, Pangbourne College is a very
fine boarding school half way between London and Oxford, close to Heathrow airport.
Pangbourne has beautiful traditional school buildings and brand new, state of the art
facilities.
Preparing students for the professional world and providing them with leadership and
excellent communication skills is key to Pangbourne College. Students are given leadership
roles during their time at Pangbourne to prepare for the future.
