BCIU EARLY INTERVENTION
PRESCHOOL SPECIAL EDUCATION CENTERS
The Berks County Intermediate Unit operates 21 Early
Intervention classrooms throughout Berks County in
locations such as Fleetwood, Hamburg, Muhlenberg,
Reading, Shillington, West Reading, and Honey Brook.
BCIU HEAD START CENTERS
The Berks County Intermediate Unit operates a total of
41 Head Start classrooms at 16 sites throughout Berks
County in locations such as Fleetwood, Hamburg,
Laureldale, Leesport, Muhlenberg, Oley, Reading,
Shillington, and West Reading.
BCIU PRE-K COUNTS CENTERS
The BCIU operates six Pre-K Counts classrooms, including five at the BCIU Learning Center at Lower Alsace
and one at the BCIU Learning Center at St. Paul’s.
