The arrival of 2016 is being greeted with great
enthusiasm at John Morrissey Accountants!
Of course, as January and February roll in, we are
preparing for another busy tax season. It is a time of
natural excitement and great anticipation for many
tax accountants. Yes, we will be busy, but this is our
opportunity to see most of our clients and do the work
that we have come to love. We are all eager and ready to
serve you. This will be our 44th Tax Season in business
and we are looking forward to the FUN!
Much like the last few years, I am enjoying the good
fortune of spending part of January and February in the
warmth of Southern Florida! No, I am not retired!

Many of you can appreciate that I
might never fully retire because I very
much enjoy our clients, our staff, and the
challenge of running the business. But
I continue to try to take better control
of my time, spending a little less time
at the office, and trusting a great team
there to keep me apprised and to meet
your every accounting and tax need.
Our business is very fortunate to have
two of my children among the many
professionals that make up our firm.
John J. is a CPA and has been active
in running our family businesses
for more than 17 years. Mary Beth
Clausen joined us in 2013 and has been
instrumental in several client service
initiatives. Over 40+ years, each has
grown up with the understanding of the
objectives and culture of John Morrissey
Accountants. Core values, client service,
professionalism, and integrity have
always been the foundation of the firm
and they both continue to bring these
to the organization. We believe that
this foundation makes us an exceptional
firm…where clients refer friends!
