Dr Edward Bach –
developer of Bach flower remedies
Edward Bach was born on 24 September 1886 near
Birmingham. After he completed studying medicine
in London, Bach worked in the London Homoeopathic Hospital. Deeply influenced by the founder of
classic homoeopathy - Samuel Hahnemann- and his
work, Edward Bach began to intensify his own research. Guided by his intuition and conviction that
fine material information of selected flowers reflects people in a psychological state, Dr Bach developed the first 19 flowers until 1930. Up until his
death in 1936, Dr Bach developed 38 flower essences in total - 37 flowers
and pure spring water - and therefore founded the Bach flower remedies,
which is named after him.
Flower Aid Erste Hilfe® products according to Dr Bach
contain a combination of 5 flower essences compiled by Dr Bach himself and
are used for aid in emotional and psychological emergencies. Available in 6
different versions, Flower Aid Erste Hilfe® products can be used in a wide
range of applications for children and adults.
