Even though it is the relocation world’s busiest part of the year, I hope everyone is still able to get away and spend some quality time with friends and family. The fall will soon replace summer, and our September conference will be here before you know it. Then it will be our chance to spend some time with our work friends and work family. This thin compact canvas allows us to paint a professional level painting in a very portable format! The 8x10 canvas will fit nicely into your briefcase so you may have your art for years to come while benefitting a great cause! All materials are included! Page 2 Contact us/ [email protected] Member Spotlight Vibeke Hahn Vadstein, CRP, GMS Vice President Client Services Brookfield Global Relocation Vibeke (“V”) has worked in the mobility industry for over 15 years and has been involved with SRRC since 2008. She currently serves as Vice President, Client Services at Brookfield Global Relocation Services and is responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of clients. V has been with Brookfield since 2005. Her role entails leading multiple regional service teams in supporting clients from implementation through the day-to-day support and service delivery to the client and their employees. She has experience with managing clients whose needs range from US domestic services as well as fully outsourced global mobility programs. V is passionate about delivering strong service to her clients and fostering business relationships on behalf of Brookfield GRS. V is the leader of Brookfield’s Houston service center. Vibeke was born in Norway and became a citizen of the United States in 2001. She has lived and worked in Oslo, California, and Houston, Texas. She is married with two sons (Adrian and Alexander) and lives in the Houston area. In her spare time Vibeke enjoys being outdoors, biking, reading and spending time cheering for her boys at weekend soccer games. V has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Intercultural and Social Studies as well as a Master’s Degree in English from the University of Oslo. Jodi Harris on the Move Jodi Harris, SRRC Board Member and Solutions Consultant with MOVE Guides has relocated to the Northern Virginia area. She will continue to participate as a board member of SRRC as she supports clients throughout the United States. Gelaine Joachim Receives Second Distinguished Service Award TROY, MICHIGAN, June 8, 2016 - GeLaine Joachim, Director of National Accounts for Premia Relocation Mortgage received her second Distinguished Service Award from Worldwide ERC ® at the Americas Mobility Conference which was recently held in Houston. GeLaine is actively involved in regional ERC groups, as a member and on the Board of Directors of Southeastern Regional Relocation Council, Charlotte Metro Area Relocation Council, Metropolitan Atlanta Relocation Council, and the Mid-South Relocation Council. She is currently serving on the Worldwide ERC® Foundation Board of Trustees. Since 2006, she has held her Senior Certified Relocation Professional designation. She has also been the recipient of a Meritorious Service Award in 2001, and Distinguished Service Award in 2006. GeLaine Joachim, based out of Atlanta, is responsible for business development in the Southeast along with an overall responsibility for the satisfaction of Premia Relocation Mortgage’s current corporate clients in the Southeast. Woolf, has a novel’s worth of fun tales gleaned from 40 years shipping pets all over the world. The founder and chairman of internationally respected Air Animal Inc., will share his stories and expertise with the Pan American International Movers Association General Assembly, Oct. 20 in New Orleans, LA. Woolf and his team live by the motto Pet Moving Made Easy®. Recent relocations included a dogs, cats, a quarter horse, a turtle and several guinea pigs. Air Animal has moved over 100,000 pets for relocating families since it began as an off-shoot of Woolf’s Tampa, FL veterinary practice. At PAIMA, he will showcase the confounding and changing details involved in transporting pets in the U.S. and around the world.
