Do you have a minimum GPA or SAT/ACT score to be admitted? • What happens after I submit my admissions application and when do you make decisions? • What is the student population like? For example, traditional college-age or nontraditional; living on campus or off campus; from local/regional area; male/female ratio. • What is the average high school GPA of the entering freshman class? • How many undergraduate students are on your campus and what is the average class size for freshman courses? In general, the fewer students there are per class, the more individual attention you may receive. • On average, in how many years do your students at your institution complete a bachelor’s (undergraduate) or associate degree? For example, 4, 5 or 6 years. The longer it takes to graduate, the more an education costs. • What is the cost of attendance at your college? For example, tuition and fees, housing, books, etc. Paying For College • Does your college require any financial aid applications or forms in addition to the FAFSA or TASFA? • What are the financial aid application deadlines? For example, FAFSA and scholarship applications. • Is financial aid awarded on a first-come, first-served basis? • When do you inform me about my financial aid and scholarship offers? • What does your college do to help me locate other sources of financial aid not associated with your institution?
