Easter competition winner receives her prize
Enjoying the breeze on a sun bed by

An Alumni of University of Nairobi
with a Bachelors

Relations, Annette works as a Front

Coordinator at Gina Din
Communications.
She loves to
travel, read and occasionally
dance the night away in the
company of friends.
“I was ecstatic. I had never won anything so exciting and wasn’t expecting it either,
“she said.
Accompanied by Martin Namasaka, her boyfriend, they stayed at the resort for two
nights from April 18th 2014. Martin whom they have been together for three years is
Marketing and Communications Manager at Lulea Africa. With their busy schedules,
this was the first time the couple had taken time to relax on holiday.
The petite lady, who grew up at the Coast, has lived in different towns. Kilifi, Mombasa,
Kwale and Malindi are some of the towns she lived in before eventually moving to
Nairobi after high school.
Annette, admits that she loves a good challenge, entered the Social media
competition on the Resort’s Facebook page.
Her co-workers and friends helped
her along on this amazing journey
that saw her become first in
sharing and talking about the
services offered at the Resort.
“Some friends asked if I was working for the Resort because of my
comments, shares and likes”,
Annette said. “I had gone viral on
the Resort’s Facebook, and Twitter
handles. My efforts paid off.”
In the company of Martin, she arrived in Malindi late evening. A representative from
Mwembe met them and delivered them to the Resort. That was the start of a luxurious
holiday. The couple were accommodated in a one bedroom suite.
“We opened the door to a bouquet of roses in a vase, tiled floors, a divan, 32” LCD television, and a kitchenette,” she explained. “The bedroom had a king sized bed and
en-suite bathroom.”
She describes her peek moment as relaxing in the Jacuzzi.
“My experience at Mwembe was amazing. I loved the calm tranquillity of the place, the
suites were beautiful, the staff were helpful and it felt like our home away from home,”
Annette said.
“I will definitely come back for a longer visit .”
