In 1961 Sullivan Flotation Systems
was founded by John Sullivan to build
an affordable and practical floating alternative
to traditional fixed/stationary docks. Over time,
Sullivan Flotation Systems continued its tradition of product
excellence and grew to be one of the oldest and largest
manufacturers of floating dock and marina systems. In 1960 Meeco
Marinas was founded in Oklahoma as a marina and dock manufacturer
primarily serving the Midwest. The company was a leader in technological
innovations such as encasement of floats to replace polystyrene foam blocks.
In 1993 Atlantic Marina Services and Meeco merged to form Atlantic-Meeco.

is a growing need for floating wave
attenuators to provide wave and wake
protection. Our attenuation systems have
been proven in installations coast to coast,
successfully shielding harbors while
enduring hurricane winds and fluctuating
waters.
Meeco Sullivan is clearly the leader in the
design, manufacture and installation of
rowing dock systems. We have designed
and built hundreds of custom rowing dock
systems to meet the specific needs of
colleges, private schools, clubs and
organizations across the country. Meeco
Sullivan’s reputation for rowing dock
technology ultimately led to being awarded
the contract to supply all the floating
rowing dock facilities for the 1996
Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia
