¾¾ My motto will be “no problem, I’ll work with you”.
¾¾ I will interview some of the attendees prior to my presentation to customize my material. If appropriate, I will
mention them by name during my presentation.
¾¾ I will be clear on what the objectives are for the event to make sure my presentation supports those
objectives and doesn’t conflict with the organization’s policies.
¾¾ I will easily and recover if there is a hiccup with something technical. Because I’ve been delivering seminars
for over 25 years, I know my material well enough I can continue teaching without the use of my Power Point
presentation.
¾¾ I will meet deadlines and be very flexible on the day of the presentation. I will go with the flow when a
wrench is thrown in, especially if it’s beyond the meeting planner’s control.
¾¾ I will provide all CE material/learning objectives without hassle and extra work on my part to get paperwork
prepared for review.
¾¾ I will help promote the event by the following: do a promotional video, email to my database about the event,
and have a descriptive marketing message crafted for the course content that can be used as email messages/
blog and Facebook posts.
¾¾ I will show up a minimum of 60 minutes prior to the program starting to do an a.v. check, meet staff, meet
the moderator, review intro, etc. Also, I will have a backup copy of a SHORT intro just in case.
¾¾ I will stay after my program to answer questions from the attendees and make sure they received the
educational value they expected.
¾¾ I will thank the client, staff and meeting planner from the stage for all their hard work.
¾¾ I will stick to the schedule by starting on time and ending on time, even if I start late due to other
circumstances (i.e. the previous speaker went over in time)
¾¾ I will greet the attendees as they come in and get them “pumped”.
¾¾ I will bring my own handouts so you are not burden to make copies.
¾¾ I will support the client’s other courses offered and encourage attendees to enroll.
