County
Regional
Police to hold defensive driving class
The Northern York
County Regional Police
Department will be
sponsoring the National
Safety
Council’s
“Defensive Driving” program. The program is
open to those drivers
who are age 16 or older
and possess a valid
Pennsylvania driver’s
license. The program is
also open to drivers who
are age 55 or older and

“Coaching the Mature
Driver” programs.
The course will be
held in one session on
Saturday, December 5
from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Participants are required
to bring a bagged lunch
with them. Deadline to
register is November 27.
The program will take
place at the Northern
York County Regional
Police Department located at 1445 East Canal
Road, Dover. The class
is limited to 30 persons
and is filled on a first
come/first served basis.
Requirements
for
successful completion
are: attendee must be
age 16 or older and
must possess a valid PA
driver’s license

filling out a registration
form at the station during
