Features • Low insertion loss • High isolation • Hardened -40 to +65º C operating temperature • Customizable with no additional lead time or cost • Quick and easy installation Optelian’s product line includes highly reliable DWDM, CWDM, and WDM multiplexer and splitter cards. These are supported in the active shelves and the passive OMS-119 shelf. Banded DWDM is available to reduce insertion losses on add/drop applications. Optics can be either uni or bidirectional. Many models include a legacy (1310 or 1550 nm) port for overlaying new channels on existing circuits and a faceplate monitor port to aid installation and testing. CWDM modules are available in many configurations to fit a wide variety of applications. 6 Multiplexer and Splitters PORTFOLIO OVERVIEW CWDM Multiplexer/Demultiplexer with Legacy 1310 or 1550 nm Wavelength Multiplexer/Demultiplexer units can be used in either unidirectional or bidirectional applications. With Mux/ Demux pairs, the insertion losses are complementary on the deumux unit to extend the system’s reach.
