G OODBYE
TO OUR BELOVED PRESIDENT
It is with great sadness that we farewell our NZ Chapter President Jolanda Taljaard.
Jolanda and her family are relocating to Perth in January. With the choices of Perth or Canada – they opted for the warmer region of Perth…. Jolanda joined the NZ CMC in 2007 as secretary and was elected to the role of President 2010. It is coming to the end of 2011.
Dear Members,
It is expected in life that most relationships will eventually end. Whether it's through a change in career, an impending move,
farewells are as much a part of life as hellos. Saying goodbye is never easy, especially when you enjoyed what you were doing.
As many of you probably know, January 13th is my last day. But before I leave, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you
know what a great and distinct pleasure it has been to serve on the CMC.
I would especially like to thank all of my managers both past and present and especially the current CMC members, you all
have provided me with support and through your encouragement and guidance I have been able to excel and fulfill my duties
as President and Lighting Awards Dinner organizer.
With many of you, I have shared a unique camaraderie which I hope will continue in the years to come even though I shall not
be here. I now look forward to this new position that brings forth new challenges and adds more diverse experience to my
career.
I do wish you and the CMC every success in all its future endeavors.
Lastly… Wishing you a merry time lighting up your Christmas tree. Wishing you and your family Christmas
blessings at this holy season.
Warm Regards,
Jolanda Taljaard - President IESANZ (NZ Chapter)
