SUMMARY OF THE AIRBUS EMPLOYEES’
TRAVEL SURVEY
“GETTING TO AIRBUS,
2012”
Université de Toulouse II-Le Mirail
Laboratoire LISST-Cieu
Thanks
Before setting out the main findings of the survey, the university team and the departments in charge of
this study would like to thank the employees who took part in large numbers. The success of this study is
based on these active links, and the actions to be accomplished can then only be closer to your everyday
realities.
Further to an earlier experiment carried out in 2005-2006, Airbus, in partnership with Université de
Toulouse II-Le Mirail’s Centre for Interdisciplinary Urban Studies, has carried out a questionnaire-based
survey of its staff’s movements to and from the Toulouse sites. The goal of this survey is to get a better
understanding of their mobility habits and identify their needs, in order to reduce the inconveniencies and
promote coherent and realistic alternatives in response to the strongest expectations.
THE SURVEYS
6,295 people completed the questionnaire (34 % of Airbus’ employees in Toulouse)
