Shamanic Sagaalgan, New Year in the Baikal Lake 2017 -‐ Buryatia, Baikal Lake, Siberia DESCRIPTION A trip to the land that gave birth to shamanism and the beginnings of spiritual and medicinal activity. Lake Baikal, the cradle of shamans in the south of Siberia, is located almost in the center of Asia. Oceans away, it is surrounded by a sum of plateaus and plains in the north and high mountain ranges that cover the desert of Goby, in the south. A return to origins is presented as the optimal setting for deepening personal work, where travellers can immerse themselves in the shamanic tradition. Ulan-‐Ude is the capital of the Republic of Buryatia, one of the most remote and unknown cities of Siberia. Will cross the Baikal Lake by different routes of highway ice, explore small villages and visit shaman homes where we will have healing rituals. DATES From February 24 to March 4, 2017. 9 days and 8 nights. *Flights are not included. We help you to choose the best flight option. The total area of the republic is 351.3 thousand square kilometers, similar to the size of Germany.
