camouflage colours introduced to a number
of items. Many months were spent finding
the ultimate pantone colours to offer unrivalled

was applied to many rigs and leads.

ILLUSION SOFT XS
A specially formulated supple fluorocarbon
hooklength material that, as the name
suggests, is super soft. Like all fluorocarbon
lines, it’s virtually invisible underwater and
ideal for all water conditions, particularly
clear water in winter when fishing can be
hard. It has a high abrasion resistance, low
diameter, low stretch and exceptional knot
strength. It’s supplied on extra value 50m spools.

The Horizon Braided Mainline has a super
slick finish and ultra low diameter to improve

characteristics which means a super quick
pick up when fishing at long range. It also

The dumpy profile of the flat pear combines
effective hooking with practical presentation
advantages. The flat surface ensures rigs are
anchored firmly on sloping bars and island
margins, and also combats flowing water.
Swivel flat pears are versatile enough for
running rigs, helicopters and safety clips up
to medium range, in-line versions provide
maximum bolt effect with the swivel
tightening to the densest part of the lead
for effective hooking.
To many tackle companies a lead is just a lead. But,
here at Fox we’ve spent a huge amount of time and
money developing a range of leads that offer genuine
advantages to the angler as well as unrivalled carp
safety features.

The leads have been CAD-designed to create optimum profiles for both aerodynamics
and bolt-rig efficiency, and each lead is formed with precision injection moulding to
provide perfect shape consistency throughout the whole range.
ELEVATOR
Carefully designed with a fluted three sided
profile Elevator leads aquaplane up through
water instantly when retrieved, making them
essential on venues with sunken snags and
dense weed. Their low profile also makes
them an outstanding choice in flowing water,
holding position well. Boating hook baits out
using the smaller Elevators also works
tremendously well.

COATED SWIVELS
A special rubberised coating creates a
subtle, non-reflective finish that also
improves the durability of the lead.
Unlike most other leads, Fox Leads all
have the weight of the lead imprinted
on the lead itself.
All swivel leads are fitted with large
eye rubber coated swivels.
All inline leads are fitted with integral
sleeves designed to take a size 7 Fox
Swivel. If the lead gets snagged the sleeve
will pull from the lead, rather than other
inline systems that rely on the swivel to
pull free from the sleeve. The large central
bore allows any leadcore or leader knots
to slide freely through the lead with ease.
All Fox leads now come in speckled
brown and green colour options.
KLING ON
With a six sided weight forward shape, the
Horizon provides excellent long casting
performance with increased stability and
resistance to rolling, ensuring optimum rig
performance when you need to hit long
range hotspots. Smaller Horizon leads splash
down quietly, making them a great choice for
thinking anglers on small venues. The in-line
variant is the choice when direct contact is
required in heavy weed but good
aerodynamics are needed to hit distant
marks accurately.

PASTE BOMB
Unique to Fox, the Kling On grips the bottom
like no other design, using pronounced studs
to position on the most severe bars, marginal
shelves or in turbulent flow. Kling Ons are
popular for long range boating when dropping
baits at extreme range, guaranteeing rigs stay
exactly where they are placed. Offered as
both swivel leads and in-lines all offer
unrivalled hooking, the largest sizes standard
issue amongst big water carpers across the
UK and Europe.

TRI-BOMB
Lead meets Method feeder, the Paste Bomb is
a CAD-generated three sided shape with
slimline cavities, allowing Method mixes or
pastes to be securely moulded around the
lead, yet retaining the camouflage and
hooking advantages of a lead over a feeder.
The aerodynamic profile offers accurate long
casting and with similarities in design with
the Elevator also rises quickly to the surface
on the retrieve. Paste Bombs have quietly
brought numbers of extra fish for thinking
anglers, both carp and specialist.
Versatile all-rounders, Tri-Bombs concentrate
weight forwards to increase bolt effect.
Swivel Tri-Bombs are effective with running
rigs, safety clips and helicopter end tackles.
Choose the in-line versions for hard gravel
bottoms or amongst weed to reduce chances
of carp becoming snagged. Despite their
dumpy design Tri-Bombs cast excellently
without wobbling or losing stability, allowing

PVA has become an indispensable part of virtually
every modern carp rig, allowing almost any bait to be
accurately grouped around your hookbait. Without
PVA, it would be virtually impossible to feed a pinch of
pellets or tiny chopped boilies so precisely at any
range or depth using any other baiting technique.
Fox PVA is a high quality PVA that comes
on a 10 metre Funnel and Plunger System,
whereby most other tackle companies only
offer seven metres for a similar price. It
comes on a wide tube (35mm) or narrow
(25mm) in both a Fine and Heavy Mesh to
suit varying water depths, water
temperatures or bait sizes.
The new Fox PVA System also includes a
variety of cost effective refill options. There
are both 10m and 25m refill spools
available for all sizes and meshes. To
complement the range you can also choose
a Heavy and Clear Embossed Tape. Never

FINE OR HEAVY?
Fox PVA Mesh is now supplied in two types of mesh – Fine and Heavy.
The Fine Mesh has a fast dissolve time, even in the lowest of water
temperatures, and allows the smallest or most difficult feed items
like maggots, micro pellets or groundbaits to be used without risk
of them falling out.
The Heavy Mesh has a slower dissolve time and is suitable for larger
baits like particles and boilies.
Both meshes have a tough, anti-ladder construction that resists
damage and withstands day-to-day handling when fishing.

ARMA MESH
HOW TO CREATE AN ARMA-MESH HOOKBAIT

Arma Mesh comes in 14mm narrow and
22mm wide, with five metres on a tube. The
wide mesh suits larger boilies, the narrow is ideal
for smaller boilies and alternative hook baits.

The narrow mesh is brilliant for making
durable pellet hookbaits which can’t be
taken off the hair by small fish and don’t
dissolve. Use a Fox Mini Nut Drill to drill out
a 14mm marine pellet lengthways.
Knot the Arma-Mesh and push the pellet
through the loading tube lengthways and
maintaining tension on the mesh on the
outside of the tube, slowly push the pellet
through the other end.
Twist the mesh above the pellet so
it grips tightly, and then tie another
overhand knot, drawing it down tight to
the bait. Trim the mesh above the knot
on the top of the pellet.
Carefully offer the flame of a lighter to
the loose mesh above both of the
overhand knots. The Arma Mesh will slowly
melt down to the knot giving a neat secure
appearance. Under 16’s should seek help
from an adult for this part.
Thread a lip close needle through the
mesh and through the pre-drilled hole.
Pull a Fox Pellet Peg into the hole to secure.
The meshed pellet can be left out for long
periods with total confidence.

Welcome to one of the biggest advancements
in carp hookbait systems ever – Fox’s new
Arma Mesh. Let’s start by explaining that
this is not PVA and it doesn’t dissolve in
water! So what exactly is it then?
Basically, Arma Mesh is a tough nylon mesh similar in appearance to
PVA. It is supplied on a loading tube and baits are pushed through
using the supplied plunger and tied off exactly like PVA to produce
armoured hookbaits – hence the name!
