First Steps
To log in to WebMED you need an access to the internet. We recommend a newer browser
like CHROME (download for example from
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95346?hl=de )
This chapter shows you:
 How to start WebMED
 Overview of WebMED

1. Open your browser and
enter the address:
https://www.shcsweb.ch
2. Enter your User-ID and
password and press
‘Senden’.

General procedure
1. Information about visit and adherence
2. Check current ART
3. Enter current additional drugs with real start date.
CAVE: Change current categorizing drug entries to specific drug name at last visit
a. Stop ‘One or several lipid lowering drugs’ at last visit.
 Start eg. with Crestor 40mg 1-0-0-0 and/or Pravastatin 40mg 1-0-0-0 at
date of last visit.
b. Stop ‘Antiplatelet drug(s)’ at last visit
 Start eg. with ASS100 1-0-0 at date of last visit.
4. Do not check medication which is not current.
GENERAL AIM:
Catch actual situation of drug use. You are free to adjust the whole drug history
accordingly if known.
Update visit & drug information
Visit information
1. Check date  click on date picker to change if necessary
2. Decide whether visit as cohort visit or visit between two cohort visits
3. Enter ADHERENCE and MISSED DOSE information (for cohort visits this info is required)
4. Press
CAVE: Program issue, which will be solved in the next release!
If you want to enter an additional visit with adherence information only between two past
visits, you do the following:
1. Temporarily create a change in any drug (eg. Insert ‘dosage change’) at that date.
2. When the visit information is entered you delete the ‘dosage change’.
3. The additional date is stored but will appear only when you refresh the screen!
ART information

year, click again if year to select is far away (eg 2001)


How to specify uncertainty of drug start/stop
1. Select date to change
2. If date is not clear you can change the default selection (=) to another sign. However,
only changing the sign doesn’t show properly, even when the green sign ‘Your
changes have been saved’ appears. It is properly stored but doesn’t appear when
changed. After a refresh (F5) it is shown correctly.
