Although none know her true name or identity,
the striking figure of ‘The Saluting Lady’
(or more often just ‘The Lady’) is drawn to
locations where great rivals are pitted against
each other – as likely to side with the good as
the evil – seeking examples of great courage
or strength of conviction. The Lady seeks out
the brave and the foolhardy alike; those who
would take up arms and fight for their beliefs
regardless of the odds. Her very presence is
seen as a salute to those who are unyielding
in the face of adversity
A short footnote on the lovely Mamselle. This
miniature character was created for the South
London Warlords show Salute. She was
the shows official collectable, only a limited
number of miniatures were produced. She is
therefore made from unobtanium.
