I decided to take it to the range and do some wall positioning drills. Having the vertical grip on either side I was able to maneuver corners covertly and still have full control of my ar-15. Love this thing and it has 5 positions (though it stated 7) where I can revert back to a normal vertical grip. The horizontal portion was NOT completely horizontal it is about a 10-15 degree angle but it still can get the job done. The quick detach also comes in handy if I do need to go back to a bench rest type situation. When installed it has a very solid feel and the adjustable height in bi-pod mode is a plus for shooting from a solid surface such as a bench or hard ground. I installed this one on my AR-15 and will be ordering another for my AR-10!!
