Do you know where your Brywood PTA funds go???
 Classroom Supplies: A portion of funds go directly to
teachers so they can purchase consumable supplies
they use throughout the year.
 Student Health: Donations supplement district funds so staff is available 5 days per
week to care for sick/injured children and perform other administrative duties.
 Curriculum: Donated funds purchase additional curriculum such as Wordly Wise
workbooks for upper grades and Supplemental Science readers for primary grades.
 Computers: Fundraising allows Brywood to participate in IUSD’s computer match
program. For every computer Brywood PTA purchases, IUSD matches with a 2nd
computer.
 Student Assemblies: Our children’s education is enriched with school-wide
assemblies such as The Imagination Machine, bringing students’ creative writing to life.
 Physical Education: Brywood PTA provides funding for City of Irvine staff to organize
fun and active games during lunch period, open to all students.
 Library: PTA contribute towards purchases of books and supplies for our Brywood
library.
