1. Carefully remove the top of the cartridges using a penknife or Stanley knife. (The top is the smaller section
positioned on top of the cartridge, See diagram above)
2. Enlarge the filling hole(s) in the top of the cartridge sufficiently to accept the steel filling tube using the screw provided.
3. Assemble the syringe and steel filling tube and fill with appropriate ink.
4. Insert the steel filling tube into the appropriate filling hole and push into the centre of the cartridge.
IMPORTANT: The cartridge contains a sponge and slight resistance may be felt.
5. SLOWLY inject ink into cartridge. When ink overflows from filling hole or starts to leak from outlet hole, cartridge is
full. DO NOT seal filling holes.
6. Replace the top and secure with adhesive tape.
7. Unused ink may be returned to the bottle. Clean syringe with water and dry for future use or use with a different
colour.
8. Leave cartridge to stand on a protective, non-absorbent surface overnight. This will ensure no leakage and give the
ink time to fully saturate the sponge.
9. Install cartridge and run a priming cycle as per printer instructions.
IMPORTANT: For best results, refill whilst ink still remains in cartridge.
Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately.

1. Using the screw provided remove the plug (s) from the filler hole(s). Twist the screw into the
plugs and pull out or increase the size of the vent hole(s) to size big enough to fit steel filling tube.
2. Assemble the syringe and steel filling tube and fill with appropriate colour ink.
3. Insert the steel filling tube through the appropriate filling hole, (See diagram above) and push
into the cartridge. Continue pushing the steel filling tube until it reaches the other side of the
cartridge.
IMPORTANT: The cartridge contains a sponge and slight resistance may be felt.
4. When ink overflows from filling hole or starts to leak from outlet hole, cartridge is full.
Stop injecting ink immediately. DO NOT reseal the filler holes.
5. Leave cartridge to stand on a protective, non-absorbent surface overnight.
This will ensure no further leakage and give the ink time to fully saturate the sponge.
6. Install the cartridge and run a priming cycle as per printer instructions.
IMPORTANT: For best results, refill whilst ink still remains in cartridge.
Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately.

BLACK & COLOUR CARTRIDGE
1. The filler holes are located under the label on top of the cartridge.
2. Peel label back on top of cartridge.
3. Enlarge filling hole(s) with silver screw piece provided.
4. Assemble syringe and steel filling tube and fill with appropriate colour ink.
5. Insert the steel filling tube into the appropriate filling holes. (See diagram above).
Push down into centre of the sponge.
IMPORTANT: Cartridge contains a sponge and a slight resistant may be felt.
6. SLOWLY Inject ink. When ink overflows from filling hole or starts to leak from
print heads cartridge is full. Stop injecting immediately.
IMPORTANT: Clean syringe with water and dry before refilling next colour.
7. After refilling replace label back over hole and seal with adhesive tape.
8. Leave the cartridge to stand overnight on non-absorbent surface this will ensure no
leakage and give the ink time to fully saturate the sponge.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT LEAVE ON TISSUE.
9. Install cartridge and run a priming cycle.
PLEASE NOTE: The ink indicator level may need to be turned off. Check your
Canon instructions manual for details.
