INTRODUCING
CALIZA COURTS
Caliza Courts, sited just south of Caliza Pool, forms
a welcoming addition to this town amenity. Designed
by Khoury & Vogt Architects, the homes are graced
by an attached park along Somerset Street, with
raised stoop entries bordered by landscaped planters.
In each home, an entry and stair hall ushers one
into the main living area, elevated half a floor above
grade. Spanning the width of the homesite, the great
room has a 16-foot ceiling and 12-foot tall doors and
windows that open to a central landscaped courtyard.
Across the court, an open-air loggia looks out on the
private garden and fronts a detached guest suite, both
raised above an enclosed garage.

AND RESTAURANT
Designed by Khoury & Vogt Architects, Caliza Pool’s
design is inspired by the timeless architecture of the
Mediterranean. Caliza (Spanish for “limestone”)
features a 50-foot by 100-foot elliptical main pool,
a separate family pool, a 75-foot lap pool, a spa
whirlpool, and numerous secluded outdoor lounge
areas flanked with tropical palms and gardens.
Alongside the center pool is Caliza Restaurant, an
elegant setting to enjoy locally-sourced, imaginatively
prepared cuisine.

The four-bedroom homes bookend the block,
allowing its long side to be punctuated with
additional windows, and a decorative elliptical
opening in the court wall — echoing the forms of
Caliza Pool. The broader courtyard permits the
addition of an optional plunge pool, while still
accommodating generous lounge areas within the
court and loggia.
The master suite resides on the first floor, adjoining
the living spaces, while two additional bedrooms
are located on the second floor and a fourth guest
suite is placed in the carriage house, just beyond the
courtyard loggia.

The three-bedroom homes feature a deep great
room that opens onto an equally deep courtyard,
separated only by an expansive bank of French doors
and tall transoms.
The second and master bedrooms each occupy their
own half floor, maximizing privacy, with the master
suite raised above the tall great room. The third
bedroom is a detached guest suite within the carriage
house, accessible from the courtyard loggia.
