One network, working together
For more than 75 years,
America’s electric cooperatives have thrived, growing
to meet local needs in different parts of the country and
earning the trust of millions
of people. In all our comSTEVE SEIBERT munities we have been a
focal point; a connection; a
touchstone.
In 1998 electric co-ops across the
U.S. came together to create a new team
— Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives.
Southern Indiana Power is proud to
be a part of this national brand within
America’s energy industry that champions
the value of the cooperative difference.
The Touchstone Energy network is
made up of close to 750 local, memberowned electric cooperatives in 46 states.
Touchstone Energy co-ops, like Southern
Indiana Power, collectively deliver power
and energy solutions to more than 30 million members every day. And because we
are a cooperative, we have a responsibility to support the communities we serve
and exceed expectations there, too. That
means we aim to improve the quality of
life by administering the Operation Round
Up® program that re-directs donated
funds from our members to worthwhile
community projects, or even rolling up
our sleeves and pitching in to help our
community as we recently did during
Indiana’s Electric Cooperative Community
Day, when we spent some time making

We’re dedicated to serving our
members with innovation, integrity,
accountability and commitment to community. Together, Touchstone Energy
Cooperatives champion the cause for lowest-cost, democratically governed energy.
To us, it’s about how we use human
connection to inspire engagement, preference and loyalty. And it’s about how we
help transform relationships.
Southern Indiana Power, along with
other Touchstone Energy co-ops, takes
pride in creating innovative programs to
better serve our member-consumers and
in finding new ways to help businesses
succeed. We take even more pride in
being reliable neighbors in the communities we are a part of. We are on a mission
to build a strong local and national presence to electric cooperatives.
Above all, we each have a voice
because we are all members; we are all
owners; we are all connected; we are all a
part of the cooperative network.

RIGHT NOW is the time to assess how much
energy your home uses and evaluate what
measures you can take to improve efficiency.
An in-home energy audit is key to properly
diagnosing energy inefficiencies in a home and
increasing your comfort level.
Energy Evaluation - $200
This audit will help determine what potential energy
improvements should be considered.
1
l Building evaluation concerning general health and
safety issues, and general heat waste opportunities for
improvement.
l Audit report detailing opportunities for improvement.
l Member Education regarding energy improvements and why
they should be considered.
l Member Education regarding rebates currently offered by
Southern Indiana Power.
(Only $250 if ordered at time of Energy Evaluation.)
This audit requires diagnostic testing to evaluate how leaky
the building is, how well the air ducting is performing, and
combustion analysis testing.
The Diagnostic Audit includes:
l Building evaluation concerning general health and
safety issues.
l Confirmation of general heat waste opportunities.
l Blower door test.
l Recommended Work Scope.
l Anticipated Cost of Improvements
