we occasionally request that our customers provide us with a brief evaluation of how well our software has met their
individual needs. This case study was prepared by B-Scada for Istikbal Furniture. It is intended to provide a brief
background of the customer’s intentions and needs, as well as a description of how B-Scada was able to help provide

Istikbal is the brand name for the furniture Merkez Celik A.S. manufactures. Based in Turkey, Merkez Celik
Industry and Trade Company was founded in 1992. The company utilizes the latest production technologies and
large manufacturing facilities to keep up with the significant domestic and international demand.

Istikbal has been manufacturing high quality home furniture for over 50 years. They have proven production
processes that have allowed them to excel in a very competitive industry for many years. As the business has
grown, it became more difficult to get key production data into the hands of key personnel at the right time. They
needed a modern solution that could be implemented without detracting from what had been a very successful
production model over the years.
B-Scada’s Solution
Using B-Scada’s Status software, Istikbal was able to quickly and easily develop and implement a data visualization
solution that improved efficiency and productivity while simultaneously reducing the need for unplanned downtime.
Status projects can be viewed over the internet through the power of Microsoft Silverlight, allowing key decision
makers to have access to important production data at anytime from anywhere in the world.
Status Machine Edition
Status Machine Edition is a powerful data visualization and process automation software package that serves as a
sophisticated HMI (Human Machine Interface) and SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) designer for
manufacturing and other process control industries. Status uses high-end graphics to display real time information
pulled from numerous data sources.
