Since 1962, Funland has been providing safe, affordable, family fun. With 20 rides and 17
employee operated games; Funland is happy to offer many types of entertainment. Many of our
rides are exciting and dynamic. Each attraction is designed to appeal to a multitude of guests. In
the document that follows we have included a description of each ride, and outlined the height
requirements and ride restrictions to help you choose what rides will be best suited for your
party. Some rides may have restrictions for guests of exceptional size (height and/or weight).
Please carefully review and consider all of the requirements and restrictions of our rides to
determine if you or members of your party can safely participate. DO NOT RIDE if you have a
condition or impairment that would not allow you to follow the safety protocol, or utilize the
seating or safety restraints. Guests with special needs should visit the main office at Funland for
information on accessibility and other services.

The Rider Safety Guid provides information on each attraction at Funland. Please
review the recommendations and restrictions of each ride. Rider Safety Guide is subject
to change, please visit the Funland office with any questions or for any update.
GENERAL INFORMATION
FUNLAND
RIDER RESPONSIBILITY
There are inherent risks in the participation in or
on any amusement ride, device or attraction.
Riders, by participation, accept the risks inherent
in such participation of which the ordinary
prudent person is or should be aware.
Accessibility Protocol
1) Visit Funland office for “Boarding Pass”
2) Notify Park Personal at Ride
3) Show wristband
Riders have a duty to exercise good judgement
and act in a responsible manner while using the
amusements ride, device or attraction. Guests
must obey all oral and written warnings prior to
or during participation.
Riders have a duty to not participate in or on any
amusement ride, device or attraction when they
are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Riders have a duty to properly use all ride or
device safety equipment provided.
MOBILE
IMPAIRMENT POLICY
Only guests with mobile impairments (generally
requiring a mobility assisted device) will receive
a wristband, and boarding pass, that will be allow
access through the accessible entrance. This
accommodation is designed to provide access;
not to bypass lines. Only guests with mobility
impairment (or other special needs) and up to 2
riding companions will be allowed access to
accessibility entrance.
4) Standard ticket values apply
*Guests may be required to wait 1-2 cycles prior
to boarding, for the first ride. *The qualifying guest must be riding for
companions to ride.
*Guests may be required to ride in the designated
row, if they wish to ride in a specific row they will
be provided a boarding time based on the current
wait time. The same applies if guests wish to ride
more than one time.
All of the rides at Funland will require the rider to
transfer onto the ride from their wheelchair or
mobility devices. Guests that require assistance
to be lifted onto a ride will have to rely on a
member of their party to provide such assistance.
Funland personnel may not assist with lifting or
transferring out of or into wheelchairs and mobile
devices.

ATTRACTION SAFETY
Regulations and restrictions are in place to
ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for
every guest. Funland employees have the right
to deny access to any rider based on safety
considerations. Many amusement park
attraction’s safety systems are designed to
accommodate people of average size and
stature. Restrictions may be placed on riders if
they are not able to safely experience a ride.
Ride Safety Guidelines
Before riding, please note all safety warnings
and review the ride safety tips.
- Obey listed age, height, weight, and health

Observe all posted ride safety rules
Keep hands, arms, legs and feet inside the
ride at all times
Remain seated in the ride until it comes to a
complete stop and you are instructed to exit
Follow all verbal instructions given by ride
operator or provided by recorded
announcements
Always use safety equipment provided and
never attempt to wriggle free of or loosen
restraints or other safety devices
Parents with young children should make
sure that their children can understand safe
and appropriate ride behavior
Never force anyone, especially children, to
ride attractions they don’t want to ride
If you see any unsafe behavior or condition
on a ride, report it to a supervisor or manager
immediately
No eating or drinking on the rides or ride
platforms, especially while the ride is in
motion
Remove/secure all loose articles
Do not ride if under the influence of alcohol
and/or drugs
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1) Prosthetics/Braces and Casts: Due to unique
designs of each attraction, guests with braces
or casts many have difficulty fitting properly into
the ride restraints. If a rider cannot be properly
restrained they will not be permitted to ride.
Most of our attractions allow guests to ride with
prosthetic devices, as long as they are properly
secured.
2) Emergency stoppage of rides, though rare,
rides may be stopped due to mechanical issues
or adverse weather conditions. Guests may be
required to walk down steep inclines or steps.
Please take this into consideration before
choosing to ride.
3) All safety restraints must be able to fit and work
properly to accommodate each guest. 4) Loose articles are not permitted on rides and
must be left with a non-rider or secured in the
designated area. Loose articles or hand-held
articles include, but are not limited to, cameras,
hats, glasses, cell phones, stuffed animals,
purses, backpacks, etc. Funland and its'
employees are not responsible for any lost,
stolen, or broken items which include items that
can fall out of pockets.

CRITERIA
HEALTH CRITERIA
A description of each ride is listed below along
with a complete list of ride restrictions and health
restrictions pertaining to that specific ride. Use
the following key to identify rides you may want
to avoid riding.
The rider must:
1) Have control of torso, head, and neck; and
be able to maintain control for the duration on
the ride
2) Maintain proper riding position for the
duration of the ride
Heath Recommendation Key
It is recommended that guests with the following
conditions refrain from riding the indicated
attractions.
3) Have appropriate weight distribution to allow
the safety restraints to function properly.
Back, neck, or bone condition
4) Have the ability to brace using his or her
legs/arms and hands throughout the duration
of the ride

endangering themselves or other riders.

Description: This is a circular ride that spins
slowly. This ride is reserved for children. Guests
need to transfer in and out of the ride. Each guest
needs to be able to hold their head upright and
have an appropriate center of gravity for bracing to
maintain a seated position throughout the ride.
Description: This ride is a flat ride that takes
riders around in a circle in miniature trucks. This
ride is reserved for children and one taller
companion. Guests need to transfer in and out of
the ride. Each guest needs to be able to hold their
head upright and have an appropriate center of
gravity for bracing to maintain a seated position
throughout the ride. Height Restrictions: 48 inch maximum height
Ride Restrictions:
- This ride is for children only
- This ride may not accommodate rides of larger
size (height and/or weight) to allow buoyancy of
the boat.

Description: This ride is a classic carousel with
horses and chariots. Guests are required to step
up onto the ride platform and transfer in and out of
the chariots or onto the horses. Each guest needs
to be able to assume a saddle posture on the
horses or hold their head upright and have an
appropriate center of gravity for bracing to maintain
a seated position while riding in the chariots.
Wheelchairs are not permitted on the ride platform.
Hand held infants** must ride in the chariots.
Description: This is a circular ride that spins at a
slow to moderate speed. This ride is reserved for
children. Guests need to transfer in and out of the
ride. Each guest needs to be able to hold their
head upright and have an appropriate center of
gravity for bracing.
Height Restrictions:
Small children must ride with a responsible rider*.
Height Restrictions: 48 inch maximum height
Ride Restrictions:
- This ride is only for children

Description: This attraction is designed for our
younger guests. The area consists of small, low
intensity obstacles including a ball pit, and moon
bounce. Shoes are not permitted. There is a
restriction to the number of children permitted to
enter at one time. Once the maximum number is
achieved a queue will form outside.
Description: This is a circular ride that spins
slowly. This ride is reserved for Children. Guests
need to transfer in and out of the ride. Each guest

Description: This is an elevated, circular ride that

Description: This is an elevated, mild-speed,
circular ride where riders can pretend to be in a hot
air balloon. This ride is reserved for children, but
one tall companion can ride in the middle. Guests
need to transfer in and out of the ride. Each guest
needs to be able to hold their head upright and
have an appropriate center of gravity for bracing to
maintain a seated position throughout the ride.

Description: This is a circular ride that spins slow
to moderate speed. Each individual swing can
move independently. This ride is reserved for
children. Guests need to transfer in and out of the
ride. Each guest needs to be able to hold their
head upright and have an appropriate center of
gravity for bracing to maintain a seated position
throughout the ride.

Description: This is a flat, moderate to fast speed,
circular ride that spins in varied speeds, in a
circular motion. Guests need to transfer in and out
of the ride. Each guest needs to be able to hold
their head upright and have an appropriate center
of gravity for bracing.

Riders 34”-40” must be accompanied by a
responsible rider*.

are vertically lifted up and dropped down, in

Description: This is a circular ride which riders
can control the up/down movement of the
helicopter. This ride is reserved for children and
one taller companion. Guests need to transfer in
and out of the ride. Each guest needs to be able to
hold their head upright and have an appropriate
center of gravity for bracing.

Description: This is a bumper car ride. Riders
may be jostled due to the nature of the ride.
Guests need to transfer in and out of the cars.
Each guests needs to be able to hold their head
upright and have an appropriate center of gravity
for bracing to maintain a seated position during a
fast ride, and be able to brace herself/himself for
possible rapid deceleration.
Height Restrictions: Riders under 40 inches must
ride with a responsible rider.

driver.

Description: This attraction is designed for
children. The area consists of varying obstacles on
different levels of the “jungle.” Obstacles include
slides, rope courses, and a cargo net. Shoes are
not permitted. There is a restriction to the number
of children permitted to enter at one time. Once the
maximum number is achieved a queue will form
outside.

Description: This is a high intensity, high speed
ride. As the gravitron gains speed riders will stick
to the wall and mats will slide upward on tracks.
Riders must remain in a standing position and
upright for the duration of the ride. There are no
seats in this ride.
Height Restrictions: Children must be between
42”-65” to enter.

-Shoes are not permitted

circular path. This ride goes both forward and

Riders 36”-42” must ride with a responsible party.

Description: This spooky ride takes riders on a
tour through a haunted mansion. This ride moves
at a moderate speed through dark and scary
rooms. Some components of this ride includes
strobe lights and may be startling. Guests need to
transfer in and out of the ride. Each guest needs to
be able to hold their head upright and have an
appropriate center of gravity for bracing.
Ride Access: Non-ambulatory guests should
enter through the ride exit after receiving
permission from the ride attendant.
Height Restrictions: Hand held infants are not
permitted to ride. Ride is not recommended for
toddlers
Ride Restrictions:
-Rider must remain in their cars for the duration of
the ride
-No reaching for items outside of the cars

Description: This virtual- reality like ride takes
riders through the bumps and dips of the video
course they are on. The video played in this ride
varies, so the course varies as well. You can
expect intense jolts, quick left to right movements,
and abrupt stops. Seat belts are provided at each

transfer in and out of the ride, which requires
steps. Each guest needs to be able to hold their
head upright and have an appropriate center of
gravity for bracing to maintain a seated position
during a fast moving ride, and be able to brace
herself/himself for possible rapid movements

ride if the restraint system is unable to engage
