President’s Note
The holidays seem to have crept up quickly this year. Thanksgiving is this week and Christmas is right
around the corner, and it’s still 50 degrees outside. Something just doesn't feel right with it being so
warm outside. This will be my last president’s message as the club will have a new leader in January. I
have enjoyed being the president of the club for the past three years. In that time I have come to know a
lot of the club members even more than before. Being in this position has made me realize how much I
know about fly fishing and how much more I have to learn. It always seems like there is something new
that can be learned in fly fishing which is what makes it so enjoyable. Hopefully the club will continue
to bring in new club members and continue to teach other about fly fishing. Fish On!
Our Christmas party is Saturday December 5th at 6:30. Tickets are $25 up to December 30th. Tickets
are $30 at the door.
Don't forget about the club dues....
Happy Holidays

The term for the Clubs officers ends at the end of December. Contact John Prokorym if
you are interested in running for office, would like to nominate someone for office, or
would like to see the current candidates. The election will be held during the Holiday
party on December 5th.
•
The club has formed a new “Education Team” who will be available to provide
information and guidance for those interested in learning to fly fish. As we all know, fly
fishing can be intimidating when you are just getting started – we hope that the
Education Team can help beginners get started on the right track. Thanks to Paul
Sinicki, Richard Atkinson, and Kelly Bedford for volunteering!
If you know anyone who would like to try fly fishing, get them in touch with Paul,
Richard, or Kelly.
