• Dial-A-Ride buses may arrive up to fifteen (15) minutes late or early under normal circumstances.
• Dial-A-Ride buses will wait five (5) minutes after arrival for a passenger to board.
• Cancellations must be received two (2) hours
before the scheduled pick-up to avoid a charge.
• BCRTA drivers may assist passengers with bags, but they are not permitted to enter private residences. Please do not ask.
• Passengers are permitted to carry-on four (4)
normal size shopping bags. Bags must be secured in a cargo area to allow all passengers to be seated.
• BCRTA recommends that all passengers wear
a safety belt. Wheelchairs must be secured.
• Children under the age of twelve (12) must be accompanied by an adult.

Scheduled Routes
General Information
Curb-to-Curb Service
R1 Hamilton & Middletown - $2.00* One Way
Shopping Shuttle - $4.00 Round Trip

R1 is a scheduled route that operates between
Middletown and Hamilton via OH-4 on a fixed
schedule. Just wait at a BCRTA bus stop sign! This
bus will deviate a short distance from the route at
no additional cost upon request. If you would like to
schedule a deviation, please make your request 24
hours in advance by calling 513-785-5237. This
route connects with R2, 23, and 23X.

Shopping Shuttles pick passengers up at their
homes or other requested locations, and proceed to
a predetermined shopping area after all passengers
have boarded. Passengers are able to shop for up
to two hours in one location or one hour in each of
two locations. More than two stops may be permitted by the driver if time allows. At the end of the
two hour window, all passengers are picked up and
returned to their home or other designated site.

R2 Oxford & Middletown - $2.00* One Way
Schedules are available at www.butlercountyrta.com.
R2 is a scheduled route that operates between
Middletown and Oxford via OH-73 on a fixed
schedule. Just wait at a BCRTA bus stop sign! This
bus will deviate a short distance from the route at
no additional cost upon request. If you would like to
schedule a deviation, please make your request 24
hours in advance by calling 513-785-5237. This
route connects with R1.
42X Cincinnati Park & Ride - $3.50 One Way
Schedules are available at www.butlercountyrta.com
or www.go-metro.com. The 42X is a scheduled route
between Meijer in West Chester and Downtown
Cincinnati. This route is provided by Cincinnati
METRO and funded by Butler County RTA.
23 and 23X Cincinnati Park & Ride - $2.65
One Way
Schedules are available at www.butlercountyrta.com
or www.go-metro.com. The 23 and 23X are scheduled routes between Fairfield Crossings Shopping
Center, Northside, and Downtown Cincinnati. These
routes are provided by Cincinnati METRO and
partially funded by Butler County RTA. This route
connects with R1.
*Seniors and persons with disabilities may be eligible for reduced fare on this route. Please call 513-785-5237 for eligibility.
Dial-A-Ride – Price Variable
Dial-A-Ride service is available to the general public. This bus will pick you up in front of your home
or other location and take you anywhere in Butler
County. Prices per trip range from $5.00 to $35.00
based on origin and destination locations. Personal
Care attendants always ride for free! Just let the
agent know when you make your reservation.
Discounts are offered for:
• Group trips;
• Medical-related trips;
• Job-related trips.
Please make your trip request as far in advance as
possible and at least two days before you plan to
travel. Due to availability, no trips are guaranteed
