About Coast Kids
Coast Kids have 2 fantastic centre’s for kids based in Papamoa and Greerton.
We are at 72 Market Place - just off Enterprise Drive in Papamoa (opposite the Papamoa Primary School.)
And 8 Kiteroa Street in Greerton (opposite the Greerton Swimming Pools)

Before school care: 7am - 9am $11.00 per day (includes Breakfast)
After school care: 2.00pm to 6pm $16.50 per day (includes Afternoon Tea)

Things that you will need to know.




Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to any vehicle departure time for the Programme.
If your child has any valuables they want to bring to the Programme, please inform staff as Coast Kids takes no responsibility for lost or stolen items.
If your child is going to be absent from the Programme please call the office on 07 5423 454 as early as possible to advise so we are not waiting around for late children.
Please advise staff if your child has any behavioral issues or is on any medication. If you have withheld any information regarding your child and their behaviour is such that it
risks or compromises the safety of other children or staff at the programme your child will be suspended from the programme and a refund will not be issued.

We hire our staff so that we have the correct child/staff ratio so if your child is absent for any reason (including sickness) or you cancel your booking once the programme has
started we will not issue a refund. If you would like to swap days we will not exchange days or issue a refund once the programme has started. If you would like to swap or
cancel days before the programme starts you must advise the office at least one week before the day.


If a child becomes unwell during the day, the child will be put in a quiet area and parents may be called to collect their child from the programme.
We will not accept children who would constitute a danger to themselves or others. We have a zero tolerance of bullying and harassment (this includes verbal). If full
disclosure is not given at time of registration we retain the right to suspend or stand down the child immediately from the Programme.



There will be a deposit required on your invoice, your child will be registered but not enrolled into the Programme until your deposit is received.
We accept internet payments, Please make payments to account number: 02-1258-0025322-00- please use your child’s last name as reference.
Coast Kids is CYF approved. We will estimate the amount you may receive from WINZ and fill out the correct documentation for you. You are responsible for submitting the
form to WINZ or Coast Kids and following up on the outcome. If for any reason your subsidy application is declined you are responsible for any fees that need to be paid.

If we cannot proceed with a programme on the day for any reason (usually weather or safety reasons) we reserve the right to change the programme without notification. We
will not issue a refund (unless there are extra charges for the activity) We will put on an alternative age appropriate programme in place for your child in this instance.
WINZ Subsidies are available for all programmes
PROGRAMME WILL COST $2.90 PER DAY WITH FULL SUBSIDY
The chart
shows you how many children
you have in your care, how much you earn (gross) and
the subsidy rate you may be entitled to.
How do you know if you are entitled to a subsidy?
If you are in paid employment or full time study and your income falls within one of the
amounts on the chart then you may be entitled to a subsidy.
Winz will pay the subsidy according to how much you earn and how many hours you work
(including travel). If you would like to find out about the subsidy or require more
information or confirmation you can call WINZ on 0800 559 009 to discuss.
Once WINZ has confirmed that you are entitled to a subsidy (and the rate you may be on)
you can then call the Coast Kids office (07 5423 777) and do an enrolment over the phone.
You can also go on-line to: www.coastkids.net.nz and book your child into the Programme.
Once we have received your booking we will go over the WINZ form with you, the hours you
work and estimate how much subsidy you may receive.
We will fill out the appropriate WINZ form for you and post it out for you to fill in your part.
You will then need to post or take the form into WINZ or Coast Kids and follow up on the
outcome of your application. An invoice will be sent with your WINZ form with a deposit due,
this deposit needs to be paid before the due date to ensure that your child receives a place
in the programme. Your child will be registered but not enrolled into the programme until the
deposit is paid. If the WINZ subsidy is declined you are responsible for any outstanding fees.
