Team of your country, to participate in the 23º Coarse Angling World Championship
for Ladies will be held in Spain from 22th to 28th August 2016.
The championship takes place in Merida, a place that has excellent conditions for
the practice of this modality.
We count on your presence, we will attend to all athletes and guests to participate in
this championship, once again, with the good work and friendliness that
characterizes us and warm welcome that will provide a memorable stay in our
country.

1. INTRODUCTION
Guadiana River has been the site chosen for the development of Coarse Angling
World Championship for Ladies
Guadiana River in Merida
 Width: Between 100 and 300 meter.
 Depth: Between 1.30 to 5 meters.
 Clear water with a uniform slow stream and at that time.
 Background of sand and Stone and bank with concrete platforms of 1,25 X
1,25.
 Predominant species: Carps, , cariassus auratus, barbel, alburnus.

By Plane


Badajoz Airport (35 min to Mérida) and Madrid Airport “Barajas”
(354 km to Mérida).
Highway A5 (Madrid –Lisbon). Take direction to Badajoz if you
come from Madrid.
By Road:


A2 (Barcelona – Madrid ) and A5 (Madrid – Badajoz)
A62 and A66 (San Sebastián – Mérida).
2. Information about of World Championship
The Official Rules of F.I.P.S.-e.d., for international championships of Nations,
Clubs, Ladies, Youth (U14.U18 y U23) and Veterans.

It is not the responsibility of the Organization.

Extra Final Banquet:

The extra Banquets can be bought at the Secretary of the championship according to
the places available.

and maximum 0.5 litres of hearth worms.
