We are happy to present our annual
report for 2014. As you can see, we have
many friends, like you, partnering with
us in mission.
The members of the Marianist Province
of the United States are deeply aware that
we can serve the Mission of Mary, as
Blessed William Joseph Chaminade asked
us to do, only in partnership with others.
We have many Lay Marianists, Affiliates,
Marianist Educational Associates, Marianist
Sisters, and many other collaborators who
help us in our mission of faith formation.
Our preferred way of doing this is through educational
ventures and through the development of apostolic
faith communities.
Your gifts, your support and your prayers help
sustain an impressive network of schools and
universities, retreat centers, parishes, social service
projects, and the important development of Marianist
religious life in India, Eastern Africa and Mexico. For
this, we are deeply grateful.
Daily we pray for all of you and hold up your
special intentions. We hope you can assist us with
our new “Join Her Mission” campaign. Our ardent
desire is that the success of this campaign will allow
the Marianist charism to grow and prosper for many
generations to come, both in the United States and in
our mission units throughout the world.

The Marianists are embarking on a
transformational plan called “Join
Her Mission” — an endowment
campaign based on three realities.
In the future, the number of retired
members will continue to grow;
they will need additional lay leadership formed in
the Marianist spirit; and the call to partner with the
poor will remain at the heart of their work. For more
information, visit marianist.com/endowment.
Now, the brothers and priests ask their faithful
friends to support them in their senior years.
2) Prepare for the future — Sustain formation of
sponsored ministries: $5 million
In her faithful acceptance of God’s plan, Mary
assures us that God provides. He gives us people
of great faith, talent and humility to lead others
to Him.
3) Remain faithful to the mission — Partnering with
the poor in Eastern Africa and India: $10 million
Campaign Goal: $20 million
The Marianists work to bring justice to the world
by relieving suffering caused by cycles of poverty,
especially in India and Eastern Africa. With the help
of loyal supporters, the Marianists will continue to
nurture the world’s most underprivileged.
1) Honor the past — Care for senior brothers and
priests: $5 million
Marianist brothers and priests have devoted their
lives to the Marianist mission throughout the world.

Legacy Giving
Outright Gifts. Cash, appreciated property, real estate

Gift of Securities. Securities, stocks, bonds and
government issues may be given to the Marianists.
The Marianists as a Beneficiary. Life insurance,
retirement or bank accounts.
Charitable Lead Trust. The trust is called a “lead”
trust because the income interest paid to the
Marianists “leads” or precedes the “remainder”
interest paid to the beneficiaries.
Charitable Remainder Trust. The trust is called
a “remainder” trust because the Marianists receive the
“remainder” of interest paid to the original individuals.

The Marianist Mission, our prayer and religious card
ministry, has offered perpetual prayer enrollments
