The Century 16 Theatre will be located next to E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park
just off Grant Street. The new theater will join two other successful Century
theaters locations in the Denver metro area—one located at the Bel Mar shopping center in Lakewood and the second at the Aurora Mall in Aurora.
The theater will feature 16-screens, all stadium seating, digital surround stereo
sound, giant wall-to-wall screens, rocking love seats and a Cinema Café. While
Century plays all the big hit movies available they are also proud to serve only
premium brands in its snack bar including Nathan’s Hot Dogs, Dreyer’s Ice
Cream, Ortega Nacho’s, Starbuck’s Coffee and real butter topped Orville
Redenbacher popcorn. .
This first initiative can positively impact the development of a
civic center retail project.

Don’t Be A Victim!!
REMEMBER THE 4D’s of crime prevention:
Detect, Delay, Deny & Deter criminal activity.
Detect suspicious people and activity that do not belong in your neighborhood.
(Participate in education & awareness programs, ie. Neighborhood Watch)
Delay criminal’s efforts to break into your home long enough to call 911 and have
police respond in time to catch them. (Install proper window & door locks)
Deny a would-be car thief from making you a statistic. (Suggestions:
a properly
functioning car alarm, steering wheel clubs & commercially installed engine killing device.)
Deter criminals from targeting your property.
(Practicing the principles of crime prevention in
your home or business.)
Criminals are like predators who prey on easy victims & seek easy targets.
BE AWARE OF CRIME PREVENTION STRATEGIES!
WORK WITH YOUR POLICE DEPARTMENT!
PAY ATTENTION TO CRIME TRENDS IN YOUR AREA!
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION & POLICE EDUCATION IS
THE BEST COMBINATION FOR CRIME PREVENTION!!

Winter Driving Tips
As the weather continues to change, here’s some
helpful hints to get you safely to and from your
daily destinations during the winter driving season.
➔ Always keep the top half of your gas tank full.
➔ If stuck in a storm don’t leave your car. Run the engine periodically & wait
for help.
➔ Carry blankets, water, a flashlight, a shovel, some nutrition bars or candy
bars for sustenance.
➔ Remember that 4-wheel drive does not mean 4-wheel stop.
➔ Be sure of your route. Don't go exploring in the back-country.
➔ Be sure you have good tires.
➔ In poor visibility conditions, don't drive faster than you can see ahead.
CDOT reminds you to respect winter weather,
conduct a pre-trip vehicle inspection, leave extra space
between your car and others, and DON”T drink and drive.
