energy of shocks/vibrations/impacts and prevents
that energy from passing through to the human
body, thus reducing the level of injury sustained.
Musculoskeletal injuries are an enduring problem
for offshore racers and fishermen, poker run
participants and boat crews in high-speed boats.
Spinal and joint injuries occur from repetitive
pounding over rough water, continued vibration
as well as in single impact events (ex. large wave
at night).
Hi-Impact Systems are engineered to dissipate
much of the shock, vibration and impact energy
before it can be transmitted to the body. They

I am delighted in how the pads have improved
the use of my boat in rough water. High performance boats are great but they sure can be tough
on your back and legs. I happen to be particularly
aware of this not only from my experience on
the water but also from my background as a spinal surgeon. The human body was not designed
to take the constant pounding and vibration
mother nature can sometimes dish out. I can't tell
you how many times I have been approached for
advice by other boaters at my marina regarding
knee pain, leg pain, or back pain after a long day
out on the water. Since installing the deck pads I
no longer have to give advice, I just take my
friends out on my boat and let them experience
