QUIETNESS
The NISSAN ALTIMA powertrain has been modified and sof tened to provide a quiet space in
the cabin that also intercepts exterior noise through increased use of absorption materials
on the roof trim, dash and floor mats to provide advanced cabin isolation. It begins with the
pressing of the Push Button Ignition that results in a driving pleasure which is a product of
smooth acceleration, excellent stability and quiet performance.

T transmission lets you ride a seamless wave of power. A
new suspension design puts you in touch with the road; while new technologies help you take
the wheel with more confidence. It’s all of this and more, in a sedan that truly redefines what it

ZERO-GRAVITY SEATS
FOR ABSOLUTE
COMFORT
In zero-gravity conditions, humans tend to take a relaxed posture that minimises
stress on the body. To recreate this “neutral posture” Nissan designed an
articulated front seat that offers continuous support from the pelvis to the chest,
along with seat cushions that flex in response to your unique pressure points.
The result is a seat that helps reduce fatigue, even after a long drive, you arrive
refreshed.

PERFORMANCE
Nissan’s legendary VQ35 and the VQ25 V6 engines treats you to quick response, smooth
acceleration and an abundance of low and mid range torque and high end power. Part
of the engineering magic is Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS),
which means power is always on tap for a ride as thrilling as it is efficient. The 2.5L models
achieves 135.7kW (182hp) and 244Nm (180ft-lb). The 3.5L engine delivers 198kW (270hp)
of power and 340Nm (251ft-lb) of torque.
Refinements to NISSAN ALTIMA’s 4-cylinder engine and Continuously Variable
Transmission help ensure it’s as powerful and fuel-efficient as ever. Stability is provided
through rear suspension. It all makes for a ride that’s so quiet and so comfortable you’ll
want the road to go on forever.
SUPERIOR ENGINE PERFORMANCE MEETS XTRONIC CVT
The Xtronic CVT delivers faster processing speeds, reduces friction, wider gear ratios
and achieves enhanced fuel economy. The new CVT control unit analyses speed and
cornering, driver intention and incline, then applies Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) logic to
choose the best shift patterns for naturally precise shifting.
