Raiatea, meaning "faraway heaven" and "sky with soft light", was first named Havai'i after the homeland of the
ancient Polynesians and is the most sacred island in the South Pacific.
This, the second largest Tahitian isle, was the center of religion and culture over 1000 years ago and still lends
enchantment to ancient legends told to this day. The green-carpeted mountains include the celebrated Mt.
Temehani, a sort of Polynesian Mt. Olympus.

This resort is about a 45 minute drive from the airport
and the town of Uturoa on the southern tip of the
island.

All 9 rooms have the same room amenities including king sized bed, mobile fan, tea/coffee making facilities,
hair dryer, mini-bar, telephone and deck. The location is the only difference.

This charming colonial style boutique hotel is located on the
West coast of Raiatea about a 5 minute drive from the
airport and close to the town center Uturoa, facing Bora
Bora.

 5 Deluxe Lagoon View Rooms – king beds – so single
beds possible
All rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fan, fridge, hair dryer, daily housekeeping, in room safe, telephone and
terrace. Both room types have the same view but the deluxe rooms have bathrobes, instant coffee/tea
