Day 2 - Lima - Pisco - Paracas - Nazca Line - Pisco - Paracas (B /L /D) Hotel:Hotel La Hacienda Bahia Paracas or similar After breakfast, transfer to Paracas and arrive at Pisco Airport. Fly over Nazca lines, something truly awe-inspiring. The experience takes you on a 45 min flight from Pisco, then around 20 minutes over the lines and 45 minutes more to return to Pisco. During the flight, the pilot shows the entire 12 line Nazca complex, with some detailed explanations of monkey, eagle, astronaut and other giant symbols. Day 3 - Paracas - Ballestas Islands - Lima (B /L/ D) Hotel:Casa Andina Select Miraflores or similar Spend this day exploring Ballestas Islands. These spectacular islands eroded into many caves and arches, providing shelter for thousands of seabirds and hunreds of sea lions. The islands are home to over 150 species of marine birds. Return to Lima after visit. Day 4 - Lima Cuzco - Pisac Market - Urubamba - Ollantaytambo (B /L /D) Hotel:Hotel Sonesta Posadas del Inca Yucay or similar Full day excursion to the plentiful and beautiful Urubamba Valley, better known as the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the way stop at the viewpoint of Taray. Visit the splendid archaeological site of Pisac, located high up on a mountain. Enjoy its magnificent terraces and a breath taking view of the Valley. Visit famous Indian market, town of Urubamba, Ollantaytambo and its imposiong ruins located on the hillside that overlooks the town. Return to hotel after excursion. Day 5 - Urubamba - Machu Picchu - Cuzco (B /L /D) Hotel:Hotel Eco Inn Cusco or similar Transfer from hotel at Sacred Valley to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Train journey to Machu Picchu is a highlight of any trip to the Andes. The journey takes you through a changing landscape of the Sacred Valley, passing by lush, green fields and colourful villages in the foothills of the Andes and the beautiful Urubamba River. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, make a brief walk through the town markets and visit the lost City of Incas. In the afternoon, the train departs back to Ollantaytambo and Cuzco. Return to hotel after tour. Day 6 - Cuzco (B /L /D) Hotel:Hotel Eco Inn Cusco or similar Free & Leisure in the morning. Around 1pm pick up at hotel and begin tour visiting the imposing site of Sacsayhuaman. Explore the ceremonial site of Qenqo and have an unforgettable view of city from the White Christ Statue. Visit Korikancha, the ancient Temple of the Sun where the Spanish built the Convent of Santo Domingo. Walk through the Main Square, Compania Church and transfer back to hotel at around 5:30pm. Day 7 - Cuzco - Puno (B/ L/ D) Hotel:Hotel Sonesta Posadas del Inca Puna or similar Travel by coach from Cuzco across the Alti plano to Puno. First stop in Andahuyalillas and the adobe church of Sanpedro. Continue tour to Raqchi, which gives a fascinating glimpse into the ambition of Peru empire. Visit the wall, known as the Temple of Viracocha, and continue on to the town of Sucuani where we stop for lunch. Continue the journey to the banks of Lake Titicaca and city of Puno. Day 8 - Puno - Lake Titicaca - Puno (B /L/ D) Hotel:Hotel Sonesta Posadas del Inca Puna or similar Depart from Puno to Lake Titicaca. Visit the floating islands of Uros Indians, which made of piles of reeds, an ancient tradition of the Uros. Continues to the Island of Taquile. Upon arrival, you will have a hike around this beautiful island, inhabited by 1,500 Quechuaspeaking Indians, famous for its hand weavings and an ancient communal way of life. Lunch will be served in a local restuarant, and you will spend the rest of the day exploring the island before returning to Puno in the late afternoon. Day 9 - Puno - Juliaca Lima (B/ L/ D) Hotel:Casa Andina Select Miraflores or similar Transfer from hotel in Puno to Juliaca airport. Transfer from Lima airport to hotel followed by lunch. Our following trip includes the Paseo de la Republica, Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor and Museum of Banco Central de Reserva. Enjoy dinner at the Royal Restaurant. Day 10 - Lima (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner) Start the day by visiting local roastery, where they handpick their coffee beans daily for an organic Peruvian Coffee. We will also visit the colonial streets of bohemian district, Barranco which is the home to artists and musicians. Followed by traditional market in the San Isidro district and city’s top seafood restaurants Embarcadero 41 Fusion, on Avenida La mar in the Miraflores district. Lunch at la Huaca Pucllana and enjoy a variety of gourmet Peruvian dishes. Dinner at Rotisserie Chicken restaurant and transfer to airport.
