Because the Port is located on the
Beachline Expressway with quick access to
Interstate 95 and an uncongested route to
Orlando, we offer great links for all forms
of transportation. No matter where you’re
coming from, there is an easy way to get
here…by air, by rail or by highway.
If You’re Traveling By Air…
You have lots of options. There are five airports,

closest terminal is located in Titusville, about 25 miles or

If You’re Traveling By Rail…
Amtrak has an Auto Train station in Sanford, Florida,

If You’re Traveling By Car…
We’re located in Brevard County, right in the middle
of Florida’s east coast, easily reachable by an efficient
system of highways. Limited-access State Road 528 (The
Beachline), State Road 520 and State Road 50 are the
Port’s east-west highway links. These highways intersect
with U.S. Highway 1, Interstate 95, the Florida Turnpike
and Interstate 4 to provide excellent access to and from
the Port for Florida and the nation.

ships of the future — which could open as early as
November 2014.
Just Don’t Forget to Board!
Our terminals will put you in the vacation mood, but
don’t forget there’s more enjoyment to come. Cruises
from Port Canaveral include 3-, 4-, 5-, 7-, 8- and

To make it easy to find cruise ships,
which may be berthed at a cruise terminal
on either the north or south side of the
harbor, electronic signs on all approach
roads provide clear directions. Cruise
lines and ships are listed on
the signs, along with the
appropriate exits. At
our gates, in-Port
signage takes over
the job of making
your destination
easy to find.

Once you’ve arrived at Port Canaveral,
most of the ‘work’ of your cruise vacation
is done. It’s time for the best part of your
dream vacation to begin. Relax and have
a great time!
Drive to Your Ship.
Park. Done.
The best parking space, we
all want it. It’s the parking
closest to the supermarket
door, the restaurant
entrance, the theater ticket
booth, that makes arriving
and departing quick, easy
and painless.
At Port Canaveral, we provide the
most convenient and secure parking
to make vacations as stress-free as possible.
Park at Your Terminal
Each of our beautiful cruise terminals has its own
conveniently located secure parking area close to the
ships. Passengers at Cruise Terminal 10 can choose
between an outdoor parking area and a six-level
parking garage whose fresh and colorful wall art
makes it easy to find. Adjacent to Cruise Terminal 8,
a new 1,000-space parking garage offers Disney cruise
passengers a similar choice. There also is a new parking
garage conveniently located at Cruise Terminals 5 and 6.
Having your cruise ticket handy will smooth your
passage through the security gates. You can drive
directly to parking or drop off luggage and passengers
at the terminal and then park. Either way, you’ll love
how short the journey is from car to terminal.

Budget for Fun, Knowing Your Costs
On a cruise vacation, you want to know how much you
can spend on shipboard and excursion fun. When you
park at your cruise terminal, you know the total cost
up front. You can pay with your choice of cash, Visa,
Mastercard or Travelers checks (issued in U.S. dollars).
Parking Rates*

4-Day Cruise ............................................. $75
5-Day Cruise ............................................. $90
7-Day Cruise ........................................... $120
8-Day Cruise ........................................... $135

www.portcanaveral.com.
*Note that rates are subject to change without notice.

for the latest information.
Free Parking for Disabled
Special parking spaces are provided for the disabled,

Feel Secure
All parking facilities at Port Canaveral are gated and
well-lighted, and we have our own federally trained
police force that patrols our parking areas 24/7 so you
know your property is well protected while you sail.
Sail Smoothly Through Embarkation
Cruise lines request that you arrive at least two
hours prior your ship’s departure time. However some
cruise lines don’t begin their embarkation until noon
so for your comfort, we recommend not arriving
before 11 a.m.
To move smoothly through the security measures that
are necessary for your safety, be prepared to show
your cruise ticket when you enter the terminal and
remember to carry proof of U.S. citizenship in your
day bag for handy access. Check with your cruise line
for other identification and documentation that may
be required. For more tips to help you cruise through
the boarding process, visit www.portcanaveral.com/
cruising/security.php.
If you have any trouble, don’t worry. Our friendly staff
will be happy to assist you.

NEW CRUISE TERMINAL
We’re Growing and Bringing the Fun Closer
We’re excited to be Florida’s fastest growing cruise port
(with 14 percent growth in multi-day passengers in
2011 and 21 percent growth in 2012) and our hunt for
new ships and fresh itinerary choices keeps delivering.
In fact, so many ships tell us they’re coming, we’ll
need more space to put them in the next few years. So
we’re considering plans for an eighth dedicated cruise
terminal to ease your way onboard today’s majestic
ships in comfort.
Plus, we’re focusing on expanding your options for fun
before you board and after you return. One site option
for our new terminal is within easy reach of all the lively
entertainment/recreation projects underway in The Cove
district of the Port. Stroll along the harbor, enjoy the
amazing views and you’re there — ready to eat, drink,
shop and explore.

world, was one of the first cruise lines to recognize
the advantages of sailing out of Port Canaveral and
continues to demonstrate confidence with three yearround homeported ships. You can enjoy the latest Fun
Ship amenities, from great dining and entertainment
options to the multi-deck adults-only Serenity Retreat
and, in 2014, your range of Carnival choices will
increase to five cruise durations from three to eight

DISNEY CRUISE LINES
Follow the Pixie Dust to Disney Adventure
Cruise Terminal 8 at Port Canaveral is the place where it
all began — the home of world-famous Disney Cruise
Line. Now it’s the only place on earth where you can
experience the latest amenities and adventures fresh
from the minds at Disney Imagineering aboard Disney’s
newest ships. These 4,000-passenger sister-ships offer
impressive feats of magic and cruise-industry firsts —
like the Aqua Duck coaster that takes riders out over
the ocean in a transparent tube; digital portholes in
all interior cabins; and corridor portraits that carry
on conversations. Sail away on the Disney Dream
or original Disney Magic for 3- or 4-night Bahamian
itineraries or enjoy 7-night cruises to the eastern
Caribbean or western Caribbean (including Jamaica
beginning in May 2014) on the new Disney Fantasy.

Start Your Explorations Here
At Port Canaveral, you’re in the midst of a unique
part of Florida with its own special history, natural
environment, wildlife, sports, technology and local
culture. Even if you’ve been here before, you’ll find

famed Space Coast, and the best place to do that
and have fun too is right here. Our iconic seven-story
22,000-square-foot visitor exploration center welcomes

beginning of a major expansion of The Cove — our
harborside dining and entertainment district — which
also includes plans for a concert-ready outdoor
amphitheater.

In the new exploration center, get the most spectacular
views ever of this historical stretch of coastline from
your choice of observation decks, inside or out. Visit the

Explore Florida’s Space Coast
Port Canaveral is located on Florida’s Space Coast —

Our wetlands, home to alligators and other unique

space shuttle Atlantis. The orbiter is displayed as if in
flight for stunning close-up viewing, while surrounding
interactive displays feature major accomplishments of
the shuttle program, including the International Space
Station and Hubble Space Telescope.

We also have three public waterfront parks right here
in Port Canaveral to suit everyone’s style, from quiet
4-acre Rodney S. Ketcham Park — a stop on the
Great Florida Birding Trail — to 35-acre Jetty Park with
its gentle ocean beach and lifeguards on duty year
round, air-conditioned food center and top-notch
overnight facilities.

As part of a recent $1.13 million park renovation,
Jetty Park’s extensive tent and RV camping facilities
have been joined by eight new vacation cabins. So now,
if you don’t have an RV and aren’t excited about tent
living, you still can stay close to the beach and the fun.
Each cabin is 12-feet by 15-feet and sleeps four, plus
each has its own appropriate themed décor, from
“Surf Shack” to “Smooth Sailing.”
If you’d like to take home a fish tale, try our paved and
lighted Malcolm E. McLouth Recreation Pier at Jetty
Park. Anglers gather here to try their luck at snook,
Spanish mackerel, drum and other challenging sport
fish. Or check out a daytime or nighttime boat charter
— you can join the party or plan your own by casting
your line to the Canaveral Charter Captains’ Association
website at www.fishingspacecoast.org.

Wine, Dine and Party on Our Waterfront
Don’t miss experiencing all the other fun at The Cove,
whose restaurants offer a range of fare from finger
foods to full-course dinners. If you’re in the mood
for seafood, where could the day’s catch be fresher?
(Yummm.) Try mahi mahi, tuna, local shrimp, lobster…
Or if you’re not in the seafood mood, how about a great
grilled steak, fried gator bites, or a big piece of bourbon
pecan pie? It’s all here. Many of the restaurants have
outdoor dining or tiki bars, great locations for watching
regal cruise ships glide by or just taking pleasure in an
onshore breeze.
And when the sun goes down on The Cove, the fun
doesn’t end. It gets livelier…with live bands, dancing
and laughter.
